This party speaker is worth every cent the lighting effects and app are awesome ,sound quality is just unbelievable and it’s so easy to use ,perfect Height looks awesome in my loiungeroom ,this is by far the best thing I own atm

Nice sound but don't download the App for it
Nice sound with good midrange, Bass & treble.
Sits in a corner & takes up less space than a big hi-fi system.
Don't download the App for it because from what I've been reading the App adjusts the sound output irreversibly & makes it sound not so good, making lots of folk severely upset. I adjust the bass etc with my iPhone which connects to the speaker via bluetooth.
The lighting works well but Discos were a hundred years ago or something like that & I don't use the lighting at all.
It connects to any bluetooth device instantly.
It has no battery so if you want one with a battery buy a different model.

I went to purchase the model below but the addition features and extra sound wattage sealed the deal. First time using it blew me away and couldn’t wipe the smile from my face.

Epic Party Speaker
Although expensive I purchased this speaker during the recent Black Friday sales. The sound from this speaker is phenomenal and light show is incredible. It is a very loud speaker however it is not distorted at loud volumes. I plan to use it at home and for a few upcoming events

This has so far proved to be an excellent buy! JBL have totally outdone themselves this time with the Partybox Ultimate. You can expect thunderous window-rattling sound, sure to annoy the neighbours. Possibly overkill for your average home setup!

1, Do the equaliser knobs on top of this control the actual sound of the music passing through this unit or just the mic settings alone ? 2, Any more physical input output options to connect , eg HDMI , Coxial or AV to an existing amp or mixer , Thanks
Great question Qwackers! The top knobs are the Karaoke controls and function for Mic input only, though the speaker does have a Bass Boost function for improved kick. To improve audio pass through and EQ settings for a paired speaker, you will need the JBL One App. It has a Back Panel for other physical connections such as USB and 3.5mm AUX in. ^CO

Can you run a turntable to play vinyl ?
Compatible record player turntables can be plugged into the Ultimate Party Speaker through the Aux input in the back. Mixers or DJ-controlled turntables can be plugged in via a 1/4" Jack.
Also to note: The speaker's light show will not sync with the music, and the audio will be controlled via the input gain on the back of the unit next to the inputs. We trust this helps! ^DG
