You get what you pay for
Speaker stops for a second or less from time to time - not too bad, but it is annoying when you listen to music or podcast.
I had speaker for few months and now it makes static noise - when you listen music loudly you wouldn't notice, but when I listen to soft/chill music on sunday - quietly, the static is lauder than music at times... and you can hear it at all times.
It's also not easy to connect with different phone. I have to turn off my Bluetooth for others to connect to the speaker

Okay but has some issues
I bought this speaker on sale, primarily to listen to podcasts either inside or when working outside.
First the positive, it has a good battery life, is very easy to connect to my phone using bluetooth due to the buttons on the device, and sounds okay at medium to loud volumes.
On the negative, there is a distinct "hiss" when listening to it at very low volume and the bluetooth connection has a tendency to temporarily drop out and reconnect. Usually this is for about a second which isn't that noticeable but one time happened every few seconds making it unlistenable. It was definitely a problem with the speaker rather than the source, as I switched to bluetooth earbuds and had no problem.
I tried listening to music and apart from the problems mentioned above it seemed fine.
Overall I'm happy enough with this speaker at the sale price for how I'm using it but you should be aware of its limitations before buying it.should be aware of its limitations before buying it.

Sound is too loose, too noisy. Bluetooth would always keep disconnected and reconnected, so annoying.

Works well but some limitations of the Blue Tooth
The Bluetooth speaker feels solid and robust, sound is above expectations given its small size.
Blue tooth was the problem, it would not connect to a small Podcast player I obtained from Aliexpress, The Player does connect to a Blue Tooth Headset I have.
The speaker was able to connect to a tablet (Android).
Suggest Harvey Norman be more open about the Blue Tooth specifications which may have helped me avoid the disappointment of not being able to use the Blue Tooth mode in the speaker for my primary purpose, Have reverted to using a cable and that works well.

10/10 budget speaker
Really good speaker at a budget price range.
I purchased it to use in my car so I could play audiobooks/music on long car trips because I can't connect my phone to my car stereo. This was a cheaper alternative than upgrading my car radio and works just as good. The sound quality is 10/10, works really well even when travelling 100km/hr .
It does emit a weird buzz every so often but nothing major and the buzz goes away anyway.
Easy to connect via Bluetooth, sleek buttons and overall look of the speaker.
Really glad I have purchased this and would recommend to others :)

A pretty good buy with the specials. Bought it as a last minute birthday gift for the old man and well, he entertains the street with his island/karaoke jams now, much to my mum's annoyance lol but he was happy. Good investment. Old stereo has since been ditched :D
