Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, But Cheaper/Better Alternatives Great product, just don't buy it at full price (I got it at $24, which is an alright price) On a Barista Express, you can just use White Vinegar at a 1:1 ratio with Water. Or look for Products like Cafetto which are manufactures of the Breville Descaler, just without the marketing attached (Most of the time).

I notice after a descaling the milk steamer and hot water nozzle pump run more quiet and overall makes a better quality coffee with your machine.

Hi What's the difference between descaler BES009CLR and BES010CLR, as you recommend using BES009CLR to descale the aquastation (from one of the questions)?

The Breville® BES009 Eco Liquid Descaler™ is a twin pack of 120mL bottles. The BES010 Eco Liquid Descaler™ is a 1L bottle of the same formulation.

Can it clean electric kettle and fry pan

The Breville® BES010 Eco Liquid Descaler is compatible with Breville Espresso Machines and kettles but it is not a cleaner to be used on a Fry Pan.

Can this descaler also be used for the aquastation or does that need a different specific solution?

Thanks for your question. Breville recommend using the following Eco Liquid Descaler 2 x 120ml Model: BES009CLR pack, or The AquaStation™ Refresh Pack Model: LWA002CLR. These can be ordered through your local store, or Breville directly. Trust this helps! ^CO

Why do Breville recommend 120mls (and sell 120ml bottles)? You've just said above the manufacturer recommends 100ml per cycle? I'm confused.

Thanks for your question Vini. The solution is designed specifically for Breville machines by Breville. The bottle states that 1L is equivalent to 10 doses, which places this at approximately 100ml per dose. Trust this helps!

Can you please add a photo of the back of the bottle so we can read the instructions?

Thanks for your question Sam There is no imagery of the back of this product available, you can use in any coffee machine that requires decaling. Instructions for use is in the Coffee Machines User Guide, it will tell you how many mls to use. Hope this helps!

Is this a concentrate? How many descales can you complete with the 1L?

Hi Jonty. Thanks for your question. The Breville Eco Liquid Descaler - 1L is not a concentrate. You will get 10 cleans / doses with the 1 liter bottle. The manufacturer recommends using 100ml = 1 dose. Hope this helps with your query.
