Great machine with features - BUT POWER CONSUMTION
So far excellent machine - very fast to make a coffee. Great with the recipe's etc.
However - i cannot give it 5 stars - there is a con that no one has been talking about - that is power consumption. With it turned off (which is in fact "sleep" mode) it idles at 30w per hour. It's not allot but adds up over time. You can shut the power off to it, but then it takes 1-2 minutes to start up as it's no longer in "sleep" mode.
Keep this in mind for the power conscious person

Loving having more (and cleaner) bench space
Have just completed setting up the Oracle Jet which I purchased for parents after their Breville dual boiler machine (and separate grinder) reached the end of its life. The automatic dosing and tamping (and the suggestions for altering grind size to dial in) have been working great. The workspace is also tidier (no separate grinder) and cleaner (no manual tamping). While I understand that milk can burn at high temps, my elderly parents are of a generation who like to burn their mouths on that first sip, so would have loved the option for manual milk temp/texturing, and/or a maximum temperature just a little higher than 75 degrees celsius. I find the 75 degrees hot, but it is clear now that my parents were used to pushing this even further on the previous (more manual) machine. Machine is a dream to use. Nice big screen and intuitive interface.

Improved Coffee Experience at Home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this machine! The user friendly features has completely changed my experience of having coffee at home, resulting in me reducing the amount of time I spend buying coffee at a cafe. The digital display is clear with large buttons and easy to follow instructions. The suggestions made by the machine to adjust coffee bean grinds or milk temperature are excellent. I am able to walk away while my milk is heating up and not worry about burning it. The taste is restaurant quality! It is also easy to maintain and clean the machine. The variety of different coffee options is amazing! From hot to cold, I can make something for everyone.

The most consistently inconsistent machine on the market
Absolute waste of money. The most consistently inconsistent machine I’ve ever used. Good luck if you’re making more than 1 cup at a time. Group head heats up after 1 cup and then it’s a guessing game as to how much to reduce the grind size so you can a half decent pour for the second. Sometimes i need to drop it 4 grind sizes and waste a few 20 second pours because the thing just wizzes it out. Ridiculous and poor design. Barista guidance is useless. It defaults to going up or down 3 sizes. The auto steam wand is great if you drink full cream. If you drink plant based then it just produces bubbly watery junk.
For that amount of money, just get a proper machine that’s not made with plastic parts

Wow what a great coffee machine!
Wow what a great coffee machine! It took me quite a while to choose which machine to get, and I am so happy we chose the Oracle Jet! Why? Bc of the great result with the coffee and the high level of automation. You get a ‘real’ / cafe quality coffee, with no fuss. You can do some of the tasks manually, like milk frothing, if you prefer, but the speed and ease of use for the Oracle Jet is A+++. Lots of coffee options, inc cold brew, and my fav, custom coffees, so you can program your preferred coffee.

Not enough flexibility in the manual programming
We purchased the new Oracle Jet with great expectations and it lives up to most of them. The auto tamping is a great feature as is the water fill point in the front and the wheels to move it around.
What disappoints me is the positioning of the water spout to the coffee spouts. I only have a small cup for breakfast and the cup has to be repositioned after the coffee is poured or the water misses the cup. This is the same cup that worked perfectly with our old Barista Touch machine. Also the water flow isn't constant so some dribbles over the side of the cup.
Using different size cups with this machine is also difficult as when programming your own recipe you can only select a preset amount of both coffee and water. This means the cup needs topping up with water, or it overflows. Once again, the old Barista Touch could be programmed by time which gave the exact amount for the strength of coffee and the size of the cup.

A worthy successor to the Oracle Touch.
The Baratza grinder, ThermoJet system and Auto MilQ system are all meaningful upgrades to the Oracle Touch providing more consistent, higher quality coffees.

Get it, you won’t regret it
The Oracle Jet is very simple to setup, it guides you through the whole process. The Barista Assist functionality helps you fine tune the coffee it makes, guaranteeing a fantastic cup every time. It only took one change from the initial settings to make an amazing coffee. Every coffee from then has been amazing as well. Much better than any coffee I have purchased from a coffee shop.
