Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good first coffee machine This is a good, compact and well built coffee machine, given the price point. It pours reasonable shots with standard portafilter and filter baskets. It's handy they have included a Pod filter which is handy if you run out of beans or for travelling/camping. You can upgrade to a non pressurised filter basket and a alongside a good grinder, it will give you very good espresso ( plenty of Youtube videos explaining the process ) The only downside as others have mentioned is the steam wand is too long for the machine and makes it tricky to get a jug in and out, perhaps something Delonghi should look at and re design for future production. Overall a pretty good coffee machine!

It’s a fantastic product that does exactly what what it claims to. My daughter is a barista and was pleasantly surprised when she used it on a recent visit. So in short if you’re wanting a perfect machine and perfect coffee - invest in the cafe style machine and go do a barista course. But if you want great coffee at home that you can make yourself and enjoy when you want - buy this little beauty! You won’t be disappointed!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Landfill I have had the machine for one week. I purchased while I wait for my Smeg to be repaired under warranty. It is remarkable how bad the coffee is from this machine. I now wish I'd paid more; however, I was drawn to the simplicity of use and the price. The steam wand is not up to the task. It is too long, noisy and does not froth milk. In addition, the company appears to be running a 'descaling' racket where they hope to lock in your after-purchase income. The machine looks sterile, like it belongs in a hospital cafe. The functionality of the De'Longhi is the same as our Smeg so I can't figure out why the coffee from the De'Longhi is so inferior?

Excellent choice for anyone who wants café-quality espresso at home without the bulk or complexity. Its sleek sturdy design which fits beautifully in my small kitchen. What really impressed me is the 15-bar pressure system, which consistently delivers rich, aromatic espresso shots. Rated 4 out of 5 by from The more it’s worth the better the coffee Recently upgraded to this machine while it was one special. Positives: This is the best coffee machine we’ve had to date. Smooth creamy coffee and even makes decaf taste better than the Delonghi we had previously. Quality build, faster startup and super compact design make this perfect for the space in our kitchen. Negative: We set up the volume it would pump out for the coffee sizes and it lost the setting ad we had to do it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing As a manual espresso machine you have to use very fine grained coffee however after a few days when using fine grains no espresso was being made. Tried all trouble shooting methods and I finally I learned that i need to use more of a coarse grained coffee which is a joke as espresso machine should work with fine grain. The website doesn't offer much of help. I really like to return it as it's only 2 months but not sure if Bing Lee would accept it.
