Very good first coffee machine
This is a good, compact and well built coffee machine, given the price point. It pours reasonable shots with standard portafilter and filter baskets. It's handy they have included a Pod filter which is handy if you run out of beans or for travelling/camping. You can upgrade to a non pressurised filter basket and a alongside a good grinder, it will give you very good espresso ( plenty of Youtube videos explaining the process ) The only downside as others have mentioned is the steam wand is too long for the machine and makes it tricky to get a jug in and out, perhaps something Delonghi should look at and re design for future production. Overall a pretty good coffee machine!

DON’T BE PUT OFF BY OTHER REVIEWS
I had read so many reviews on this product prior to purchasing and a lot where negative but also so picky!! It’s a fantastic product that does exactly what what it claims to. My daughter is a barista and was pleasantly surprised when she used it on a recent visit.
So in short if you’re wanting a perfect machine and perfect coffee - invest in the cafe style machine and go do a barista course. But if you want great coffee at home that you can make yourself and enjoy when you want - buy this little beauty! You won’t be disappointed!!

Nice and compact, but tricky at first
I bought my machine about 1 month ago. It is taking some time to be able to comfortably but the espresso handle on. At first I had to switch it off so I didn't accidentally hit any buttons, then hug it tightly to be able to get it on. Now I'm able to get it on ok, still a bit tricky getting it off. Apart from that, I'm quite happy with it.

Worth the Wrestle!
This will be my third of these very practical machines, one each in Shenzhen and Doha and now back home in Australia. They have a low footprint but make a great coffee. A little patience was required with the latest. Fresh out of the box it has been a real wrestle to attach and remove the head... and only after a couple of weeks of use has it started to move more freely.

Bought about a month ago - had a lot of trouble getting coffee just right! But think have perfected it now. Coffee I use doesn’t need any tamping just a levelling off and I get a good brew.

Overall a good little machine
I like the machine overall, but cannot get a good milk foam with the steamer. Coffee is fine but milk does not get hot enough within 60 seconds.

What is the boiler made from, aluminum or stainless steel
