Top BRAUN Iron ever!
I had my top of the range Sunbeam steam iron back in early 1980s. Still great but this Braun iron is a much more effective fabric presser. Be sure to press steam shot before pressing a different fabric for the first time. That way it gives you a degree of safety that the iron has reached the correct temperature for that fabric. Also love that auto turn off feature if not using for more than few minutes time. There are other positive features about this iron too! But some people find this iron rather heavy. There is a reason for it in that the weight of iron gives the fabric a much better iron press!

A great quality and easy to use iron!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest I am not the kind of person who enjoys ironing, I find it frustrating and time consuming but this iron made the whole process fairly easy! This iron isn’t overly heavy so it doesn’t feel like you’re moving a brick, the steam function is efficient and helps iron out the fabric kinks with ease and without having to go over the same spot again and again (my ironing pet hate!) The iron as a whole looks and feels to be quality and I like that the different setting options are easy to navigate and understand. 10/10 would recommend.

Good quality and great results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually submitted this review in July, but I don't know where it went, so here I go again.
I am loving the Braun Textile 9. I will admit that initially I thought it felt too heavy but after the first use I realised I was wrong. It is so smooth and a beautiful iron to use. I love the pointed tip, which makes getting into those tight corners a breeze. It doesn't stick to light fabrics even though there is no heat adjustment.
The steam function works extremely well as does the spray mist. Our jeans and work shirts have never looked so good.
I also love the fact that it's made in Germany not Taiwan so straight away I think quality.
I have always been a Tefal girl but not any more. I will be sticking with Braun from here on.

Leaks water…returning
Leaks water…disappointed as I had a braun texstyle 7 for years, it got a lot of use, and was great. With the 9, as soon as I turn the steam function on a LOT of water comes out…just can’t get the ironing done with the new one as you’re constantly‘ mopping up’ the water coming out…

Came at the perfect time!

The agility of this being so effective we were gobsmacked!
So easy to use, descaling was an absolute BREEZE!
Having the auto-off was great because I get easily distracted and that relieves a huge stress on me for safety concerns for my family.

Purchased the Steam Iron after consulting Consumer NZ online and I am very happy with it. This iron is an excellent performer and has a calcium collector to help keep the iron clean. Usually not a problem for me as I use either filtered water or water collected from my dryer, but nice to have regardless. It doesn’t have a temperature control, but the fixed temperature setting works well on most fabrics no need to fiddle with the dials, it just works.

Easy to use iron!
I recently had to replace my old Braun iron, so looked at the Braun irons available. As I looked at the irons, I became anxious about how I was going to be able to use the new kind of irons! I watched the video available for the TexStyle 9 steam iron, and decided to go ahead with this iron.
It was so quick and easy to use, and I have tried it on many kinds of fabrics, including woollen jumpers! I am extremely happy with this iron!!
