I was so excited to try this product but was left disappointed! The instructions were picture based so was unclear how close or far away I was to hold the steamer from the men's button up shirt I chose to try iron. I tried both modes and both against the shirt and away. But nothing worked to get any creases out. But i did like that it came with the storage bag for the bottles and that the mitten was also the storage compartment for the steamer (very clever!) Oh well back to the ironing board...

Having the opportunity to test this out was amazing. It made hubby's shirt wrinkle free. The colour gave me the dopamine hit that made it into a fun task. The fact it doesn't take up much space and warms up with in 30 secs is perfect for me who always runs out of time. This would also be perfect to take camping due to its size. I think I have now become a steamer convert to the point I also steamed our bed sheets. Plus the glove (which reminds me of an oven glove) is a perfect pritectant for a klutz like me.

It heats up in under a minute and is really easy to use. The steam is strong enough to handle light to medium wrinkles, especially on shirts and dresses. I also love how lightweight and compact it is—perfect for travel. It’s not a full replacement for an iron on thicker fabrics, but for daily use, it’s super convenient. I have used it to freshen up hung curtains and to freshen up party wear which is sometimes too delicate for the iron. Would definitely recommend for everyday or travel use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest way to get rid of creases [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first garment steamer I have used, and boy does it do a quick and easy job. No more having to set up iron boards, all you need to do is hang the clothing on a coathanger (I do mine on curtain rail). The steamer comes with a nice carry bag that doubles as a glove to protect your hand from getting burnt, the unit itself is light weight with a detachable water reservoir. It also has a long cable so you wont need to scrounge for extension leads. This got the job a lot easier than an iron and has 0 risk of burning fabrics or melting buttons. It's my new go-to tool for tidying up my clothes.

I’ve been debating buying a steamer for a while now and I’m really happy with this one. My only comment is that it’s described as red online and very much isn’t in person - it’s a gorgeous bright coral pink colour. The head of the steamer folds horizontal for use and can be straightened which is great for storage purposes. I’ve included photos of my before and after trying it on one of my dresses, it works really well and takes only about 20 seconds to heat up. Seems like a great portable option to an iron, will definitely be using this in the future (love that you don’t have to get an ironing board out!)

I very excitedly opened the box (kudos to Philips for no plastic packaging), pulled out the device and immediately filled it with demineralised water, it heated remarkably quickly and it seemed super powerful for its size. Imagine my disappointment as I ran it over one of my favourite shirts only for it to do absolutely nothing, I went back and read the manual thinking maybe I'm doing something wrong, nope it just didn't help this particular shirt. I tried a few more shirts with middling results, frankly nothing beats the humble iron.
