Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yet to decide Just purchased this iron after deciding to upgrade my 25 year old Phillips one. As stated in previous comments, instructions are baffling and the cord is ridiculously short.I was so focused on researching all the mechanics of the iron , I forgot to check the cord length. I don’t understand how they could design an iron with such an impractical length cord . I have only used the iron once, honestly it’s no different from my old one. I was hoping for some technological advances . I’m underwhelmed so far , hoping with more use I will be impressed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glides Well but Has a Few Drawbacks I’ve been using the Tefal Ultra Glide iron for a little while now, and overall it does a good job. It heats up quickly, and the steam function is strong enough to get through stubborn creases, which makes ironing a lot faster. The soleplate really does glide smoothly over different fabrics, and I like the safety auto shut-off for peace of mind. On the downside, I find the water tank quite hard to see through, so it’s easy to overfill. The iron is also a little heavier than I expected, which can get tiring during longer ironing sessions. The cord could be a touch longer too, depending on where you set up. Even with those small issues, it’s still a reliable iron that gets the job done well. If you don’t mind the weight, the steam power and glide definitely make ironing easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great iron for all fabrics After only a few uses, the Tefal Plus Steam iron has been a great product. Heats up quickly, and glides across all fabrics easily. The no steam option also works really well for delicate fabrics. The iron itself is quite light, so it easy to move around.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heavy & constantly dripped Biggest mistake buying this iron. Constantly dripped whilst I used it and it was incredibly heavy and cumbersome. I also found filling the tank up was awkward due the the angle of the iron as you needs to fill it up on an angle and then constantly stand it upright to check it reached the max level. I also felt the irons standing/sitting position was awkward and felt like it was going to fall off the ironing board all the time. I would not recommend this product at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great iron, terrible instructions. Love the iron. Glides easily over the clothes and creases disappear with little effort. Would prefer a longer cord and the instruction manual is just a few diagrams which need written instructions as well to maximise one’s understanding on how to use the iron effectively.

Does this steam iron not come with a water pourer as most other brands do...
