The flame effect is so real and provides a cosy focus for the room and we love sitting and enjoying the ambience. It is easy to use, light and portable. Would not suit larger spaces or open plan areas but is great for small spaces. Love it!

The faux log fire effect is fantastic and it definitely gives off a placebo illusion of sitting infront of a cost fire. The heater blows air from below the unit and it gives off enough to keep a small to medium space warm. Great for the price and very handy as it is easy to move around.

I got the model up from my previous simplex faux fire heater. slightly bigger and warmer on the high setting with a nice faux fire look. the only slightly annoying thing is you have to open the door to change settings and turn on/off. Big thumbs up is that the outside doesn’t get hot so safe for kids and pets and no accidental burnt bird toes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved My Bacon Very good medium sized heater which comfortably heats my open living-kitchen area well. In the recent cold snap on the Gold Coast (yes, really!!) I needed something with a bit more oomph to take the chill off. This Dimplex heater did the trick - and looked stylish and cosy while doing it :) The flame log effect is attractive and realistic without the mess or overpowering smell of wood smoke. A blessing for people with asthma!
