Great blender with a bit of a learning curve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is very powerful, I haven’t had any issues with how it cuts. It’s nice and quiet to operate, and has super sharp blades. Makes cutting veggies a breeze. My only critique is that there are so many different attachments and ways to use the blender that I struggle to figure out when I should use each different type. It could benefit from a quick use guide to help familiarise new users with the different features. With all the attachments it does require a fair bit of storage. Overall great blender though and would suit someone who understands the different cutting modes.

Pleasantly Surprised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little sceptical at first that this hand blender could really satisfy all of the claims that Braun had made, safe to say it has.
I have replaced my old hand blender, food processor and blender all with a machine that takes up nowhere near the footprint in my small kitchen.
Now because it does a lot it does mean there is a slightly daunting unpackaging process that is filled with an array of attachments.
Once you use it a few times for a few dishes the system does make intuitive sense and wriggles its way into every dinner routine.
Anyone looking for a capable 'do it all' hand blender really should consider the multiquick.

Average for the cost
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first handheld machine I've ever used so I don't have anything to compare it to.
I'll start with the pros first, this is obviously a handheld device so portability and ease of access are it's strong points. My favourite attachment is the whisk, which I use almost daily.
The cons are most of the attachments are made from plastic and feels filmsy and won't last for a long time. Other con would be the machine feels relatively weak compared to a regular food processor and the automatic lock is very annoying (which locks every 1-2 seconds).
Overall given the RRP of the product, the quality of the parts used could be improved and motor could be more powerful.

Amazing Multipurpose Device!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this for a few days now and really loved its overall performance and help in the kitchen. Let me discuss some points.
Unboxing: This comes in a compact box and I was surprised to the amount of parts it contained. They packed it so well, it will be hard to put it back in the box once you unboxed it. So make sure you have the right space to store these once opened. I recommend having a container for the sharp parts. I commend how the protective covering of the blades.
Using the product: I was overwhelmed at first sight but just after reading a few on the manual and watching instructional videos, I find it very easy to use! It’s easy to connect the parts of your desired use, it took me few times to get the hang of disassembling the parts. This one has a safety button/light, once the device is ready (red light on) you have to be quick in pressing the button followed by the operating button, or else, it’ll go back to ready mode. It delivered all its functions very well, I was able to make a fruit shake, vegetables puree, I’m totally addicted in crushing ice with it and the multiple blades for food processor mode are really good! I’m able to incorporate more vegetables to my toddler’s food now! Last to mention, I tried to make a toddler clay using the bread kneader attachment and it’s pretty cool! I’m yet to learn how to make an actual bread. I like that the containers have safety rubber at the bottom. This is really a great help in the kitchen, it saved me a lot of time in chopping meal ingredients and It made me more creative in serving food to my family. Quite fun, I add more vegetables to our meal now because I’ve enjoyed using the food processor so much. Just one note, you have to press and hold the operate button to continuously use it. A room for improvement, I wish there’s a continuous ON button instead of holding it down.
Cleaning: Totally easy! Almost everything can be washed manually or put in a dishwasher.

Longevity issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my second MultiQuick 9. When they work, they work really well. I like that soups do not splatter, and that the blade can reach low to make sure everything is thoroughly blended. But the longevity isn’t good. They seem to last about two years with frequent use (about 5 times a week) before the motor wears down. The safety mechanism is also a hassle. Most of the time it doesn’t sense that the safety button is being pressed, so I have to struggle with the button until it finally recognises that it’s “unlocked” and can finally blend.

Braun MultiQuick Blender
I think this is a very useful and modern food processor I bought it because we had one from the same maker before for 15 years. the only thing that I dislike about it is that it doesn’t have a proper attachment for grating potatoes.There is one for cutting potatoes into chips but that’s not a healthy option. In Australia there seems to be no option to buy the dicing attachment for the machine which is disappointing. Other than that I’m very happy with what the food processor can do.

Lots of attachments!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can do so much with this gadget! It has an attachment for everything which is really great. As I didn't have many kitchen appliances, it works for my needs, but I imagine most people have some of the attachments so it might be a lot.
For the same reason, it takes up a lot of room in the kitchen, but all of these individual machines would be more so it's good. It's clear this is a really efficient product with all the things it does, however it takes a lot of pulling apart and putting together for some recipes.

Makes a busy mum life so much easier!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my Braun multiquick 9 1200w hand blender for around 2 weeks and it has already made my busy life so much easier.
Working and doing everyday mum things doesn’t leave a lot of time for meal prep and time in the kitchen and this hand blender has saved so much time.
It comes with several tools such as a purée tool, a whisk, chopper, slicer, grater and more. It can grate a full block of cheese in around 60 seconds and saves a lot of arm ache!
When preparing meals, I can use this tool to slice and dice my veggies and even slice my potatoes into fries!
It is so easy to use, my 8 year old has been using the purée tool to make mashed potatoes and my 4 year old has loved being able to use it to whisk her cake batter.
And best of all when you are done chopping, slicing, grating or whatever you have used it for it all goes into the dishwasher for cleaning so no need to stand at the kitchen sink to wash it all either! Big win for me!

How much voltage or amp does a braunmultiquick9 bought in New Zealand use? I know it use 1209 W
Thanks for your question Naudeen. The Braun Multiquick 9 operates on 220-240V and uses around 1000-1200W. This puts it's amp usage between 5 and 10 amps. Trust this helps! ^CO

Is this suitable to make chutney and curries or gravies ?
