I bought it so we could make family size smoothies… I find it has to blend for longer and on the highest speed. But it works well haven’t used it too much yet so looking forward to summer when we’ll use it more for summer iced drinks. I love that I can use hot and cold without worry!

So easy to clean since it comes apart completely at the bottom as well. I made a pumpkin soup which I was able to blend smooth quickly. I am looking forward to some warmer weather so I can make smoothies

Fantastic blender to use BUT separating the glass jug from the base after use is very difficult.Kenwood please provide a device that can be used to get a proper grip on the base unit to unscrew it, my hand is barely big enough to get a grip and it seals tight (which is good to prevent leakage)

Only downfall is the weight, because it’s glass and heat resistant the thickness of the glass makes it quite heavy with the liquid. The Kenwood punches out a lot of power so it can crush and blend food without any problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great blender, not compact [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice blender attachment. Made of glass and quite heavy and seems pretty durable. It’s not overly loud but definitely not compact as you have to use the whole big machine for the blender. I am not sure whether I’m doing something wrong or not but the bowl mixer component to the machine also spins when you use the blender? In terms of cleaning the blender it’s quite easy as all the parts detach. And using it is pretty easy too, everything blends seamlessly and it handles ice cubes quite well also. I am not sure what the point is of the spoon attachment, I didnt find it all that useful. So far I’ve used it to make iced coffees and have no complaints. I don’t think this attachment will be my go to when I need a blender though as it’s too much work to set up. I would probably opt for my NutriBullet which is much more compact. For anyone that has their chef baker always set up in their kitchen, this would be easy and ideal, but I put my chef baker in storage and it’s just too heavy and too much effort for me to pull it out just to use the blender. Hence only 4 stars for this attachment. Once I move into a bigger place and have the room for it, this would be great. The chef baker is a great multi device machine.
