Do You Know Where Your Tamper Is?I noticed this on the Vitamix accessories page and had to have it. The base of this two-part gadget installs on and (if desired) can be removed from either side of your Ascent Series base in seconds. The capacious business part then locks into place and twists off for cleaning, which is especially clever since it's what comes into contact with the tamper's tip. At this point, the compatible Ascent Series wet containers both use the same tamper, so investing in this is a no-brainer.
Very highly recommended, both for having your tamper at hand and keeping your counter free of drips after using it.

Space saverI got my beautiful Ascent Vitamix recently, I had issues on how to store my Tamper, it was all over the place so I finally gave in and got this holder for my Vitamix. It is perfect! First of all, it does have a place underneath the Ascent Vitamix that it clicks and keeps it steady! Second, it is small and none invasive which I like very much. So my Tamper now has its house and I don't have to keep it on the side!
You do have option of snapping this holder on the Right or Left side of your Vitamix. Please be advised that do not buy this item if you have any other kind of Vitamix than Ascent series... it won't work with other. I give it excellent, because Vitamix package came on time, very well packed, and it works perfect! Just what I needed. :-)

Should come with blender[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the tamper holder to keep the tamper handy and always with the blender, not lost in a drawer.
It does just that. I just wish that it came with the blender, just like the tamper. Come on Vitamix, give your patrons something a little extra that really works and is worth having.

Excellent productI purchased the tamper holder to keep the tamper close by the Vitimix. This little device complemts the Vitimix very well, it’s handy allowing quick access when the tamper is needed.... this item should be better advertised as a much needed accessory.

So handy!I appreciate the way the tamper holder keeps the tamper right by my Vitamix and there is also room for it to hold the new Vitamix blade scraper, too. It was easy to add to the Vitamix and it is easy to clean.

The perfect addition to the Ascent series!I love this tamper holder! It looks really nice & it is so nice to not happen to open a drawer in the middle of a blend! It’s right there at your finger tips!
One of the best surprises is that the bottom twist off for easy cleaning! No need to remove the holder from the vitamix!

Tamper Holder - Worthwhile AccessoryOrdered the tamper holder about 6 months after receiving and using my A3500. Rather than having to stow the tamper in a drawer or leaving it on the counter, the tamper now has a home. The holder provides a convenient location for the tamper, looks great in the holder and the base easily detaches for easy cleaning. A must have accessory IMHO!

Works as expectedIt works as expected. One thing to note, the tamper holder does not "clip in" or physically attach to the vitamix. It rests under the vitamix when installed. So if you regularly pick up your vitamix to move it around your counter, the tamper holder won't come with it. The tamper holder is stable enough to be used alone. It will hold the tamper upright just fine without being attached to the vitamix. I use it with my A3500.
