Great for sober slushies.
Have had it since launch. Great for straight forward slushies (coke, fanta etc). Just pour the soft drink in and 20mins later, slushy goodness.
But…if one wants to do an alcoholic slushy, such as a Marg, it all turns into a giant maths puzzle.
One cannot just mix a marg, and pour it in. The machine will detect too much alcohol, beep and not proceed.
It’s all to do with Alcohol By Volume (ABV).
So one has to ‘math it out’ with how much tequila and triple, simple syrup, lime juice etc (or marg mix) and add a tonne of water to get the ABV down. And keep tweaking it. Quite the pain.
So, if you’re after sober slushies n milkshakes, it’s a winner.
If you want a loaded slushy, pull out the blender and ice. Much easier and reliable.

Great Buy quality product easy to use
Purchased this month fast delivery. Machine is solid well made. Very impressed with how easy it is to make wonderful frozen cocktails. Maybe a bit too easy… frappes turn out perfect and even just a quick spicked slushie on a hot day is so refreshing. Well worth the money… love it

Heavy staining to plastic after few uses
After a couple(6) uses heavy staining to the plastic even tho put through dishwasher, for the amount you pay you think yous would use a durable plastic looks icky now

Bought yesterday and already used it twice. Frozen coke was yummy and the Jim Bean & Coke slushie was amazing. Doesn’t take too long and cleaning is easy as!! Recommended

Not happy!
My family purchased this for me for my 50th birthday in May have only used it a handful of times no issues till now used orange Fanta for the grandkds and it has stain the plastic vessel tank and auger now the machine looks disgusting

Container stains!! be aware - not warranty covered
Purchased a Ninja Slushie machine after hearing all the hype... Works however after only 1 or 2 uses the container is discoloured... Seems its the Australian (Approved!) foods can causes the staining.. I used orange Mango liquid... Now Ninja won't replace that container... Its a faulty design not suited to Australian Market... Poor form. Buyer be aware, now my Ninja looks unsightly....

Very happy
Really happy with this purchase, it’s been the perfect addition to our family this summer. We’ve made a variety of slushies, milkshakes and frappes so far and the machine slushes well. The only issue I’ve had is when there isn’t enough liquid in the machine after pouring a few drinks and the machine starts to create a thick snow cone-esque consistency before switching itself off. A bit of trial and error to figure out the troubleshooting is required but most answers can be found in the booklet provided.

What % sugar do you need in the ingredients to make a slushy?
Thanks for your question Mark. This will ultimately come down to the recipe and choice of ingredients. Generally you would make to the taste of those consuming the slushy so it might take some experimenting. Hope this helps clarify! ^CO
