Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase I've made in 2024! I love my sunbeam 6 slice sandwich press! It cooks quickly, is easy to clean and the hotplate is huge so I can fit a lot more food on it than I could with my last sandwich press. The edge around bottom hotplate allows me to cook foods and not worry about things leaking out the sides - everything gets directed towards the front where the drip tray is located. I find the drip tray the perfect size required for what I am cooking, and I am impressed with the option of either pulling it out to use, or leaving it pushed under so that it is not in the way when toasting sandwiches, etc. Well worth the money!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy - small footprint and lockable Small footprint 2 slice sandwich press (although the handle extends outwards more than necessary). The side clip to lock the top press in place is the most useful improvement. Just beware that the top press is hotter than the bottom and will burn your bread if you don't use the lock, unlike an earlier model without the lock. High lip around all the sides prevents spills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and clean and store - win, win, win! Had to replace our ancient sandwich press and gladly upgraded to a bigger model. With 4 hungry eaters, it keeps everyone happy at the same time rather than waiting for one sandwich to be finished to toast the next one. Worked great on taller items as well, like bagels. A friend who operated a cafe previously gave it two thumbs up! Cannot wait to try some of the recipes from the website. PS. being able to store it upright is a game changer too!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the box Great so far only had it for a couple of weeks and only done toasted sandwiches and wraps grilled some cheese in a burger which was really easy and work pretty fast. Very easy to use and easy to clean. They only thing that would be nice would be if it had an on off switch as you have to turn it off at the wall which isn't that big of a deal but just be nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Non-Stick, No Problem This grill has THE BEST non-stick – meat, veggies, bread – none of it sticks which makes cooking on it so much easier. The cooking area is large enough to cook a full meal for 2 on and the control level means the lid can be placed exactly where you need it. Maximum heat with no squashed food. The drip tray is good but the plate isn’t slanted which means the excess oil does sit on the plate. The drip tray does make it nice and easy to clean up though. Overall it’s a great all round grill which heats up quickly and easy to clean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Should not be labeled SANDWICH press This Sandwich Press is sleek and large enough for 6 sandwiches, but I haven’t managed to cook 6 melted cheese and ham sandwiches yet. They come out burnt or not melted (except the one which I did turning the power off). The heat is VERY high and only the one setting, which was great for cooking burger patties.

The infinately adjustable lid means no flattened food and the raised top grill and flat bottom plate give steak that chef look.
