Not amazing, but I still love it!
Not as good as I hoped - unless I am doing it wrong? The instructions provided are not very clear. The bags that you cut to size are perfect but the re-useable bags don't seem to completely vacuum out all of the air. It would be great if you could vacuum and seal other types of plastic bags to avoid landfill. It does seal anything though! For example, frozen berries in a bag, simply seal and pop back in the freezer. Unfortunately, it can't be vacuum packed unless transferred into one of the FoodSaver bags.

Brought this 19/9/18 and had a play. Blanched and chopped veges, only needs minimal room in freezer. No more veges going off! Great!

Just a couple of weeks ago I started an adventure with FoodSaver® Lock & Seal VS4500.
It is a sleek vacuum sealer designed to make your food stay fresher for longer.
And it does exactly what it promises.
Since my Food Saver arrived I have used it every single day. It’s perfect for meal prep, ideal for marinating meats and incredibly worth using for storing fresh fruit (my watermelon is still crisp and fresh 3 days later!)
It can be used in the freezer as it protects the food from freezer burn and at the same time helps me save a lot of space by eliminating the air from the food pouches.

Foodsaver vacuum sealer
Foodsaver vacuum sealer machine is great for sealing when using the bags on a roll, which I use for the freezer. The ziplock attachment with the ziplock bags is very loud when sealing and the bags don't always keep their seal as you would expect, some were ok and others I had to reseal every day, and I made sure the tops were tightly closed. These were new bags and not rewashed.

Seal the deal!!
Really easy to use.
Follow instruction not to overload the sealing element - take it slow if you have lots of sealing to do.
Roll, precut pouches & reusable bags are really good.

Can you please explain why the vaccum doesnt work on my machine. It is about 2 years old and not over used,the seal is ok
Hi there. The machine can stop working when there's a gap in the seal, often caused by dirty or damaged upper and lower gaskets, a clogged vacuum channel, or an improperly positioned bag. To fix it, clean the gaskets and sealing strip, ensure the bag isn't overfilled or positioned incorrectly, and check the vacuum channel and drip tray for blockages. If this does not help, please contact the store you purchased from as they have all your details and warranty information on file. We trust this helps

Does this come with a starter pack of vacuum seal bags? If not, do you sell the bags?
