Terrible design
The only thing good about this product are the quad blades. I am not sure who approved the design of this product. The metal part that fits into machine is a plug-and-play and I have to take it off everytime and wash is separately as there is danger it will fall in my sink hole!. I was putting up with that, but today I minced chicken and when I lifted the machine the mince had exited via a hole and gone into my machine crevices (which i cannot wash!). I did not even load the chopper, but the centrifugal force lifted the mince to exit. I want Breville to contact me and fix my problem.

Small, compact and chops food in a few seconds
Purchased this after researching other equivalent products (other brands). Decided on this due to the 4 blades (with option to only use 2 blades) as well as all parts other than the top button part is dishwasher safe. Its easy to take apart. We use it mainly to finely chop onions (no more tears!) and carrots. I do use it to chop almonds but keep in mind that chopping nuts for too long tend to make it into a meal (ie: almond meal!). Chopping garlic is brilliant too and we use it to make garlic oil. To chop items you only need a few presses and due to its small size, we prefer using this other other larger food processors.

Highly recommended.
Fantastic machine.
I have another chopper that came along with a stick blender, but that is too compact for all but the smallest jobs.
I also have a full-size food processor, which is too large for many jobs.
The size of this machine is "just right" and is perfect for making generous quantities of dips and sauces and for chopping medium quantities of ingredients.
The quad-blade system makes this the most effective processor I have ever used.
Easy to use and clean, and the motor is powerful for the size.
I only have one criticism, and that is the lack of a whisk.

Potential good with big flaw
I have been using this unit for a while and have been reasonably happy with it. The downside is that the motor unit and the base/blade are connected by a small star shaped cylindrical key which slots into a keyway in each unit. If you lose the key (e.g in a dishwasher, plughole etc) your machine is useless.

Versatile product in my kitchen
I bought this mini chopper over 2 weeks ago. I was so excited when it arrived. It has now become a very versatile appliance in my kitchen as it ease my job. I just need to chuck everything, push the machine and BOOM, my veggies, meat, everyting is chopped up very well. It is very easy to use and clean as well which is an additional point of why I fond of this product. Breville never disappoints me and I will absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family.

Compact yet Powerful
The four blades make for very fast chopping. I cook daily and use this daily and mainly chop onions, garlic, ginger and just a few presses and its perfect. Easy to clean, good price and quality and just the right size for my needs.

Will it make breadcrumbs?
It is recommended that if bread is being processed in the Breville®LFP150 Mini Wizz™ Quad Blade that is first be cut into 2cm cubes then processed with a press of the quad blade for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Does it chop nuts to a paste?
Hi there. Yes you can use this Mini Wizz to use with nuts. For a more chunkier finish you would use the Dual blades. The Quad blades produce a smoother texture. Hope this helps with your query.
