I HARDLY USE MY FULL SIZE OVEN ANYMORE!
I LOVE this new mini oven. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the toast function is a little slow. It takes a bit longer to make toast than a regular toaster. If I had toast every day, it might impact my decision. But the unit is so fantastic for the rest of it's uses that I can overlook the slow toasting. Today I got mini quiches for breakfast at a cafe. I wanted to warm them up. Warming pastry in a microwave is just gross, so I would have had to heat up my regular oven to put two tiny quiches in to warm. The HEAT function on the BREVILLE had them warmed in minutes, way before my full size oven would have even come up to temp.

Awesome Oven - Breville Customer Service is Outstanding
This is an awesome oven. We use it quite often. Love the airfry setting for frying items with very little oil (light spraying). We have also used the airfry setting and basket for cooking a spatchcock chicken. A lot faster than heating up the big oven. There are other things we haven't tried with the oven yet, but will get there. We did run into a minor issue with the oven. Reached out to Breville customer service and they were fantastic!! They stand behind their products (because of past experience we did not hesitate to upgrade from an older Breville oven to the newer Air Fryer and it is great to see that their customer service is still outstanding).

Horrible choice
This is the worst Air Fryer that I could have ever purchased it smokes, can not be cleaned, leaves a fumy smell lingering for hours in my home. My famiy and friends have never experienced one like this when they are wittnessing me using it. The elements are not cleaneable . I have tried two. It burns food on the bottom. This was the most expensive one that I saw when making the choice to order this one. Im Leary about this name brand now. great customer service when I did call but it just doesnt help me to feel like I made a choice based on thinking surely this price is a good chance that the product will perform the highest. but I was wrong.

Fabulous!
Once again Breville hits it out of the park! The ease of use, the indicators on the glass to show you which level to use in the oven depending on what you are cooking, “air frying“ so you can get rid of the fat, and then the most surprising and gratifying feature is that they’ve somehow figured out how to make the drip tray so it basically cleans itself!! I was getting ready for a long session of scrubbing by running hot water over the drip pan while assembling my cleansers, when I saw all the drips just sliding down off the pan into the sink! Nearly all my small kitchen appliances are Breville – fabulous!

So disappointed!
My SmartOven Air Fryer Pro broke after only a few years. I decided replace it with this newer, smaller version and bought the 4-year warranty. The sea salt color looks great and I love the smaller profile, but the very first time I used the air fryer mode, I smelled a horrible chemical smell. It was giving me a headache. When it was done I went to clean it and noticed the drip pan's nonstick coating was covered in sticky bubbles. I thought it just needed a good scrubbing but as it turns out the actual coating burned off during air frying! Now my 3-day old oven has a ruined drip pan! My other SmartOven didn't have this nonstick coating on the drip pan so I didn't have this issue.

Amazing Results
I bought this for my new home instead of a bulky oven. Best decision ever. Compact, yet still does two trays at the same time, it is so fast and wings are juicy inside and golden outside. Toast is perfect. Lasagne came out show stopping.
It's not too hot to touch on the outside of the oven, doesn't blow around a lot of hot air and looks super.
Really fast preheat and really fast cook times.
Saves heaps of power not heating up a huge mostly empty oven.
Would have been happy to 5 star but the stainless steel is a bit cheap and hard to keep unmarked.
I did a lot of research online and I feel this was an awesome choice for the price.
Would definitely recommend this product very highly.

Great table top small oven.
The Smart oven is excellent and as I have an Aga It will be my main oven for 2 of us in the summer. I was replacing a table top oven I have had as a small grill and fan oven for 18 years.
The settings are fantastic especially reheat and warm and Pizza crisped well.
I have slow cooked belly pork—in roasting pan 1/2 filled with stock at 110:for 3 hrs and it was the best we have had—crisp top on grill at end.
Air fryer is a learning curve and Sage need to give us the recipe for those beautiful golden chips in the advert as I have soggy so far but I did manage great bang bang prawns. Please recipe Sage.

Sage Smart Oven Air
Recently purchased this oven, mainly for the air fryer function. Of the features I've used so far all have functioned respectfully, I've made toast 4 slices, cooked a pizza and sauteed potatoes using the air fryer function and they were really nice, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, have also baked a cake, toasted a tea cake using the crumpet setting, grilled bacon so basically it does what it says on the tin and well.
Why only four stars then, well Sage should have given the UK the bigger Breville version which has a couple more features is larger so would have been even better. For a single person or a family of two this is an ideal buy if you don't want or need a full sized oven.

Thanks for your question Rease. Unfortunately, this particular model does not have the function to Dehydrate. The available Preset Functions: Toast, Crumpet, Bake, Roast, Grill, Pizza, Air Fry, Reheat, Warm and Slow Cook. Hope this helps with your query.
