Worth the money
I was sick of buying a new fry pan every 12 months as well as not getting a balanced cook, this one the heat is all around the pan, also you don't need spray, it's easy to clean and has very distinct setting for what you're cooking on it. Well worth the money. Can't go wrong with Breville.

fantastic even cooking surface
I bought this frypan a month ago and seriously I don't know how I lived without it. It has the best even cooking surface I have ever cooked on - it heats up quick and saves cooking time but heating all over the cooking surface. I have never spent this amount before on a frypan BUT LET ME TELL YOU - it is WORTH every cent !!!!

MasterChef here I come
What can I say, there is nothing you can’t cook in this pan.
Everything comes out easily and cooked evenly.
Easy to clean and it looks tidy, not dirty bottom to look at.
I love cooking Teriyaki Salmon, the skin is crisp and fish cooked perfectly.
This is the only pan I have used for the past 3 years, may be time to replace and when I do it will be with the same make and model.

Love this electric frypan
I have had this electric fry pan for a couple of years now and highly recommend it. It cooks more evenly than any other brand of electric fry pan I have previously owned. Easy to clean.

The Best Frypan
I kept having to buy a new frypan at least every year because the cheap ones would never last. I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Breville. The best investment I have ever made I LOVE it. Heats evenly, cooks evenly, Dish washer safe ( who would have thought ) easy to clean and easy to store. You won't regret buying one it will last a long time.

Great for large families
I have a family of 7 and this fits everything i need to cook perfectly. I love how it cooks evenly, the side pouring lip and the temperature settings are great. Very easy to clean because nothing sticks to it.

Its worth the money

Awesome!! But.....
Only had it 2 days before I did get to get it for making and cooking lasagne in.
Did check for reviews on all electric skillets and electric frying pans and this appear to be the most favorable at the moment but I didn't want stainless steel so opted for this colour. Very swanky, love that the lid have ventilation hole for hot steam to escape through. Havent figured out the tilting part but that can wait.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: if you're serious about this one, you better measure up your sink. This Thermal Pro Banquet is a HUGE, rectangular shape...and its lid just fit my sink!
CONS: One thing I did noticed, the rim of the lid made cleaning 'not a breeze', it seem to be trapping moisture and food splatters right where the metal rim (inside and underneath) attached to the glass (refer to image).
Had noticed this during cooking, of course I've expected food splatters but when I went to give it a quick wipe round the edge of the lid, but the food splatters didn't come away. Wiping clean during cooking is a bit pointless but washing did clear a lot of it out...but even after being washed (a good scrubbo!), the lid still got a bit of food trapped inside the rim. I like to cook in clean pots, pans etc, the lid is one that I'm not enthusiastic about. Yes I've pot lids made of tempered glass, they all scrubbed up very well (had been for the last 20yrs) but this one, which I've only had for 2-3 days, and in one cooking, had me frowning about keeping that lid clean, not so much during cooking but afterwards. Need to be sealed or something...so it's a manufacturing issue or rather the construction design of it.
I'm still going to use it as it had done a fabulous job with cooking lasagne in it (fresh homemade pasta sheets, on lowest setting of simmering and left for about half hour).
This appliance is perfect for what I want it to do....minus the cleaning issue

I see this is dishwasher safe.... does that mean the pan lifts off the element/electric components for washing ?
