Always perfect every time
I use this product for a lot of recipes, my favourite is lamb stew. I cut all the vegetables into cubes, buy a good cut of lamb cubes. I then put flour, pepper and salt, just blanch the lamb in a frypan, put all ingredients in the slow cooker, with seasoning. I put the appliance on before I go to bed, and let it cook all night. I wake up to a delicious aroma and lunch is all ready . YUM YUM

Great Size but Heating Temps are Iffy
I love the size as the family has shrunk and I rarely need the extra large. The 3.5 is ideal for 2 or 3 of us with some leftovers. In 40+ years, my large slow cookers have mainly been home brand ones with a few brand name ones in between. So I have a lot of comparison as to what heat for cooking time needed.,
Sadly this doesn't live up to expectations, as on HIGH heat, it takes as long as all of my others on LOW heat. First time I used this cooker, I was thankful no grandkids were visiting waiting on dinner as it was at last ready well after bed times. A meal I'm cooking today is generally 3 hours on high and that's even per the slow cooker recipe book, yet it will take a minimum of 5+
The cooker is usable as long as the above is taken into account

Cannot give 0 stars
Got it out of the box, onto the bench, turned the switch and it broke off in my hand. And goodbye Russell Hobbs. The quality is abysmal, as my husband had hinted at. Never Russell Hobbs again.

Warning
Was enjoying using this slow cooker and had it sitting on Low for a few hours. I dished up the dinner and lifted the crock out for cleaning and the whole bottom came off. How on earth can that happen? Edges were very sharp…it’s something I wasn’t expecting as the crock is so solid…..

The best alliance I own!
After hearing so many good things about slow cookers, I decided to find a top quality one so I could make delicious slow cooked meals for the family. This one was recommended to me by a friend. As soon as I cooked my first meal, I was in love! It cooks all protein perfectly! I love cooking slow cooked lamb as it's so tender and full of flavour! This slow cooker is amazing quality at a great price point. Can't fault it!

Not good!
I have brought this slow cooker as we don’t need a large one. I am very disappointed with it on how slow it cooks compared to my large Sunbeam one. Today I am trying to cook a rolled beef in it which isn’t large and I have had it on for 4 hours and it hasn’t even started to cook, I have it on high!

Perfect slow cooker for 2-4 person household.
Purchased to replace my 3.5L Russell Hobbs Slow cooker which I have used regularly for more than 13years. As empty nesters, it is the perfect size for cooking enough for two nights. I can safely leave our meal to cook during the day (using solar power). Easy to convert conventional recipes to slow cooking by reducing the quantity of liquid added. I have successfully used this slow cooker for casseroles, meat loaves, soup, dried chickpeas, chutney and whole chicken!! Couldn't live without it!!

Super easy to use
We bought this just before lockdown and are so pleased we did. It is SO super simple to use and very easy to clean even with caked on sauces and gravies after hours of cooking! We have baked bread, made desserts, cooked roasts and souos and stews... absolutely foolproof. We love the bigger dish size for our big family too.

Worst slow cooker, cooks everything super high
We have used our slow cooker a number of times and even on the lowest setting and reduced cook time it manages to overcook everything leaving the meat tough and dry - anything but tender and lovely. Really disappointed in the lack of temperature control and will be looking to get rid of it.

Unexpected failure
Had this for just over a year, maybe used about 7 or 8 times. Put to cooker on last night to cook over night, got up this morning to find a piece of the control panel had cracked off and the control panel not firmly attached anymore. Very disappointing, speaks to poor quality control.

Russell Hobbs 3.5L Slow Cooker
This cooker is the perfect size for the smaller household. Much easier to store than the larger models. I love being able to prepare a meal in the morning and not have to think about prepping a meal later in the day when I am starting to run out of steam.

Simple and convenient to use
We bought this several years ago and it saves a huge amount of time, cooks to perfection and makes meat as tender as is possible. We put meat and vegetables in the pot and come back several hour later to enjoy the perfect, nutritious, tender meal.

Very Slow Cooker
We bought the slow cooker just about 3 weeks and used it less than 5 times.. Cooking with rice is ok but cooking with meat and veg is worst.. We’ve been cooking for more than 3 hours even the corn haven’t cooked yet… it takes forever………..

Great product
I can cook so much in this. Having the low & high settings allows me to set it depending on what I have in it. It’s a perfect size for a piece of pork, beef or pumpkin soup. It’s my favourite item in the cupboard. Easy to clean after.

Best thing during lockdown
Very pleased to have bought this product. We ended up using it a lot for making most of our meals during lock down. Works very well, once its setup and started you don't have to check it until its time. Every meal was done perfectly.

Handy appliance
I have used this a couple of times, and it is useful because you come home to a cooked meal at night. The only negative is that I don't think the food tastes as good because it is not stirred. I will need to try more recipes.
