Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenience and quality I brought this product well over a year ago and use it quite a lot as it is great for meals when your busy at work and want to come home to a meal that's ready to go for the family. This product is easy to use and convenient. I have never had a meal go wrong in this yet. Even soup is a breeze to cook this way. I would definitely recommend this product and will be purchasing another one for my daughter when she goes flatting .

Puddings through to whole briskets and of course vegetarian curries and ratatouille. It is perfect for level 4 lockdown in Auckland where dinner meals can be sorted in the morning allowing children to be helped with lessons and other activities outside or allow mothers to concentrate on our own work!

I am very disappointed with this product i would have expected better quality from Russell Hobbs i can't return it as it is now out of warranty would not purchase again

Unfortunately I had to return this one as the aluminium liner was cracked (either in manufacturing or shipping) but I’ve got another replacement now and HN were really good for swapping the devices over.

My mum visited once when I was using it and couldn’t how hot it gets on the outside. We couldn’t touch it for for much longer than a spilt second. She decided to take it back even though it was past warranty (I hadn’t realised it shouldn’t get that hot). It was replaced with another of the same model and unfortunately this is exactly the same. The lid is always bubbling away and doesn’t fit well. The control panel clip has broken so now the panel moves around. The metal surround is very flimsy and I wouldn’t trust leaving this for long wothout checking it considering how hot it gets. Had a few meals that have not cooked in ample time which is amazing considering the heat it gives off. Very disappointed and so are my parents after this being the second one. What a waste of money. When I can afford to buy another this will be going in the bin as I don’t trust it to give it away. Extremely cheaply made and I wouldn’t recommend.

Highly recommend this product would definitely buy again.

Very convenient to put the meat - or other food - on in the morning and the meal is ready and delicious at dinnertime.

does it have a timer to set to switch off?

Great question! While it does have a Low, High, and auto setting, these do not switch the slow cooker off at any given time. You must turn the control dial to Off to stop cooking. Trust this helps! ^CO

What is this made of? Is it a ceramic internal pot? Does it have any non-stick, teflon or other toxic chemicals added?

Hi Ella. This slow cooker has a Removable dishwasher safe 6L ceramic pot. It has a glaze but no non stick chemicals or coatings. We hope this helps
