Best little appliance
I was given this product to test and it’s been amazing. It works well to not only cook food but also to reheat food!
The heating plates have a little depth so I can add a bit of liquid to help steam then sear my veges with the grill marks.
Toasties also taste fantastic with the grill plates…. Add a little extra butter and olive oil and you get a nice crispy texture.
We also love using the sandwich press to reheat cold pizzas and hot chips.
Overall, the Sunbeam sandwich press exceeded my expectations. The heat plates ensure the food is cooked evenly and the grill marks provide a nice touch.

Perfect product for those looking for a stylish, compact and easy to use sandwich press and grill! I really like the look and feel of the product, adding a stylish edge to my collection of appliances yet doesn’t take up much room. It’s great for small kitchens and once folded up and standing, frees up my bench top when not in use! I have found the 2 in 1 functionality of being a sandwich maker and a grill super handy, letting me fry up ingredients to go with my sandos without having to pick up a pan. Last but not least, the choose your own height of the top plate is a game changer. No more squished sandwiches! Highly recommended product overall!

Practical and versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with this 2 style sandwich press and it’s so easy to use even my son uses it!
First of all it heats up quickly so it’s ready to use in minutes. It has cooked every food I’ve tried so far really evenly and doesn’t take long at all!
I love the fact that you can alter the height of the top plate depending on what you are cooking, this is a game changer for me as with all other sandwich presses I have used just squishes the food and this doesn’t so still looks amazing when it is finished!!
So far we have cooked bacon, eggs, black pudding, toasties, quesadillas and I can’t wait to try more.
I also like the fact that it is really easy to clean when you have finished, a quick wipe and it’s done and then stores away neat and tidy without taking up much room.
The only thing I would say as a negative for me is that I wish I had a larger one! As a family of four I have had to cook on it in batches so I would definitely recommend purchasing the larger one if you are able to.

Easy to store, use and clean !

It doesn’t take up too much bench or cupboard space and I love that it stores standing up and so it slipped in nicely to my cupboard. It has the grill feature and so leaves those cute grill lines on the food and it’s designed to be able to cook more than just sandwiches, so you can whack a piece of tomato and bacon on for example and it cooks quick and tasty. You can choose the angle of the closure so it doesn’t squish your sandwich which I love, hate having squished toastier!! It heats up very quickly and is easy to wipe down and clean. It looks stylish and is great on the bench top. Overall I would definitely recommend this and enjoy using it a lot.

I'm throwing out my toaster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing- it is great to cook bacon or chorizo evenly in slices- I love then making a toasted sandwich with said bacon or chorizo and the bread sucks up all the yummy stuff that came out (: It's nice and compact so it takes up less space and because you can use it for so many things the toaster is going bye bye! Also used it for naan the next day to go with some leftover curry- I love how crunchy and delish it made it go. Great appliance for the home - great value (: p.s needs a drip tray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great little product. Finally can get rid of the old one taking up too much bench space. The 2 slice is perfect size for us. This thing heats up quick and now we've nailed the perfect toastie! Shredded chicken with cheese, tomato and a little mayo and you've got yourself a toasted sandwich that rivals any cafe bought one. Really like the ribbed and flat plate design. Find the even heat so much better than the old one we had. The adjustable height is another great feature although have needed to cook anything too large in it yet.
The only drawback that I could possibly see is the cord is a little too short but that's probably more around our kitchen design so your mileage may vary.

Simply the BEST!
Since getting this sandwich press I have been using it daily. Highly recommend!!
I was first unsure about the ribbed top but totally now understand the design because I use this press for more than just sandwiches and cheese toasties. The ribbed top is great for frying halloumi and zucchini’s.
The best thing about this sandwich press though, is the adjustable height. Amazing!! No more flattened sandwiches with more cheese on the toaster then in the sandwich or having to make a structure out of cups to hold the lid up. The adjustable height also means that you can cook and reheat things instead of putting a pan on the stove which is great for quick and small (for one person) meals…or at least that’s what I use it for.
So much more than just for sandwich! Love it!

Top plate-lock is a dream
I brought my machine just over two weeks ago and it has become my new best friend!
My personal fave feature is the plate lock for making epic sandwiches that don't get squished on one side. I have also been making quick zucchini fritters that look extra spesh with the grill lines on top!
