Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the box Great so far only had it for a couple of weeks and only done toasted sandwiches and wraps grilled some cheese in a burger which was really easy and work pretty fast. Very easy to use and easy to clean. They only thing that would be nice would be if it had an on off switch as you have to turn it off at the wall which isn't that big of a deal but just be nice.

I have had many of these over the last 8 years and love them.However the newer version doesn’t give you the double sandwich press/ contact grill option and doesn’t seem to get as hot. The new one doesn't have a sloped plate so when cooking bacon or sausages etc the fat doesn’t drain. Not a fan and will be looking at different brands in the future unless the older version returns.

This is really a very useful large size grill, you can put 6 slices of bread at the same time, it is really convenient for those families with many family members. Another thing that must be mentioned is the height adjustment function, which is really useful for me when you cook defferent foods it will prevent the foods to be squished. Very easy to clean very worth buying it!

Works as well as older model, good family size, improved the fat drawer that hides away, improved the locking mechanism. However it doesn’t have a sandwich or grill option size it’s just the one size option, not a deal breaker but it did surprise me. Overall happy with the purchase and would buy again :)

Potato chips; a pizza; a veggie dish and toasty sandwiches with sausages.. We found this appliance safe to use, cooked very evenly and when cooled off sufficiently easy to wipe down with a damp cloth. Love the size and so glad we bought it.

I have of course first used it for toasted sammies and it's cooking ability for that is above reproach! I have also cooked a full breakfast on it and that went very well too. I am very happy with my purchase.

One thing that always annoyed me is how the sandwiches get squashed by the presses, so I’d use a glass or something else to prevent that from happening. So glad Sunbeam has fixed that issue for me! Easy to adjust it to the height of your preference, I can now have perfect sandwiches, toasted on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Or squashed, if that’s what I’m going for. The thing is, it’s up to me to decide, not your press. I found that the heat is spread quite evenly on the top and bottom, so no sides are extra burned. I have the 6-slide one and highly recommend it if you have the kitchen space for it. You can make open wraps (I like them that way), pizzas and even grill things for the whole family. I think the next step would be for the press to have a temperature control switch, and perhaps a structure on the back or side that allows it to stand vertically, making it easier to be stored. All in all, very happy with my Sandwich Press and would recommend it to anyone.

Only reason it didn't get 5 star as the close lock leaver isn't very secure and it comes unlocked & falls open easily when you move the unit around when its closed.

This sandwich press is fantastic! Its fast heating, and gives it a great even toast, with some fancy cafe style grill marks. Its big enough to fit a massive wrap too! Glad I went with this one!

I have been using this product for 2 weeks now and was blown away with how quickly it toasts a sandwich! and it does 2 at a time! The other massive advantage is that you can lock the height of the top plate at any height. This makes it super easy to toast almost any size food or snack

Love how fast it is and the fact that it can accommodate different sizes. The lever is so easy to use. Storage is easy and doesn't use much space.

Its great if youre cooking for alot of people, but a little to big just for 1 or 2 people. It cooks wonderful and has a leaver to hold the top of machine slightly up above cooking food, so as not to squash it.
