This one is doing exactly the same, a crack develops in the grooves of the plate and clearly seen on flat side and now the plate is heating unevenly. When working it is fabulous, easy to clean but obviously longevity is not its strength and to top it off they are not exactly cheap to purchase.

If anything i wish that after 3 years of constant abuse the non-stick surface could survive as this is the only reason we had to bug another.
