Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works just brilliantly I have purchase several of these beauties over the last five to eight years, works wonderfully well poaching eggs and steaming Chinese dumplings. Still don't get sucked in, like I did, last time I needed to replace the egg rack. On the Sunbeam website it talks about five bonus items, well they don't exist. The egg cooker is USELESS without the five essential items, so there is no bonus or extra cup, lid, poaching trays and egg rack. Instead of waiting for the product to be delivered and paying postage, I could have gone to the local retailer the same day for the same price. Be as unambiguous in your descriptions as you can please.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Consistent and handy I got the Sunbeam Poach & Boil Egg Cooker primarily for poaching eggs, and it’s been a solid addition to my kitchen! Both poached and boiled eggs turn out great as long as you follow the water measurements on the included cup. That said, I was hoping it would stop automatically once the eggs were done. Instead, it makes a very jarring sound to signal the end, which I didn’t particularly like. Thankfully, you can silence the alarm if you prefer. You’ll need to keep an eye on the time yourself, but that's easy enough with a timer. I haven’t tried making an omelet yet, but I’m excited to experiment with it soon! Overall, it’s a handy device for anyone who loves eggs and wants consistent results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect egg cooker This is an excellent wee egg cooker. Makes perfect hard-boiled eggs, fluffy omelettes, and lovely runny poached eggs. I found it very easy to use, and the loud buzzer indicating the eggs are cooked can be heard from anywhere in the house. Haven't tried soft boiled eggs yet, or the steamer option, but I've only had it for a week, so more things to experiment with. Love the water measuring cup included as it provides the perfect water measurement.

Thanks for your question Bazza. Approximate cooking times are 7 minutes for Soft Boiled, 10 minutes for Medium Boiled, and 12 minutes for Hard Boiled. Only 1 egg per tray and filled to the marked lines. Further cooking details are found in the instruction manual. ^CO
