Safety, ease of cleaning and low waste
I bought this to use in a Home ec centre for secondary students. The timer and thermostat feature means it would be very hard to have a combustion event. The unit completely dismantles to be put through a dishwasher, all except the easily removable element/control box and lid. The jewel in the crown is the filter, drain and storage reservoir to recycle and keep the oil in good condition with particles removed. Genius design! Students find it easy to understand and aren't frightened to use it. It is quite a sizeable appliance so check the specs for space compatibility, but it is light enough to easily lift in and out of storage. Highly recommended.

It cooks perfectly everytime.
Amazing product, great features that include oil box for storage, automatic oil filtration : drains and filters the oil for you so you don't have to and it allows me reuse my oil. Dishwasher safe!

Great fryer
Gets up to temperature quickly, gets back to temperature quickly after you put your food in. The oil draining and storage is great. It's very big. The timer isn't really all that - on my worktop the timer is under a wall mounted cupboard and not very visible.

Drain the OIL
I have had this Deep Fryer about a year now and is has performed very well. I like the filter and drain feature which allows the drained oil to be stored in the fridge if you want to.
I wanted to purchase an additional oil container to keep a different oil in. The container had to be purchased in its parts. I was able to get all the parts to build the container from the Tefal Website except for the threaded plug. I don't know why they don't sell this piece as it is important. Having said that there is not many appliances on the market you can buy
spares for.
