This model has horrible noise chime and not easy to ready water level indicator and after approx 5 weeks of use the push button lid started failing - I have returned product and bought another brand. Very disappointed

Great kettle but annoying tone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Kitchenaid kettle and overall very happy with the quality.
It’s well made, boils quickly and temperature setting is very easy to use and handy.
Only thing we don’t like about it is the very loud tone it makes when you press the button and after it boils. It’s loud and we would have preferred a kettle without this.
It would be a better product if you could switch this off or reduce its volume.

good solid product - pours well

It has easy to use temperature controls, has a solid feel to it and pours well, the lid is hard to open sometimes, and the water level is hard to judge when filling. However, it does look good, and matches the other kitchen aid appliances we have. Overall we are very happy with it

Surprisingly useful alert

This kettle works nicely and feels well balanced. It’s quite light too.
At first I thought the alert tone was going to be annoying after a while but has turned out to be a good thing.
Only downside is the opening feel a bit small when filling up with the tap.
I think it looks pretty good on the bench too.

Great quality and quiet boil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought this product but unfortunately it had a defect that I assumed was a design flaw where the lid wouldn’t open very well. I was sent a replacement kettle within a few days, and was very happy to find it wasn’t a design flaw and was exactly as advertised. The design is sleek and attractive and the kettle boils quietly. I like that you can tweak the temperature for different types of tea. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Quiet and quick kettle

Only problem I have found is the lid gets stuck and won’t open with the press of the button. I have resigned to filling the kettle via the pour nozzle.

The Ultimate SS KitchenAid Kettle Ever!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle is AMAZING 🙌 The best I’ve ever had and surpasses my cream KitchenAid kettle which I absolutely ❤️ too and have used for years without any issues whatsoever.
We have downsized, moved and fully renovated our new 🏠 and required new appliances to match the modern colour scheme of the kitchen/home.
After much research, this SS kettle is what I settled on and my husband is over the 🌙 with it too (nearly as much as me)!! I also bought the matching toaster which is brilliant too ☺️
The look, features, quality and efficiency are just magic.
I’m so so happy - and after 4.5 years of 2 cancer battles and a new serious health issue to contend with - my home is my sanctuary and, as my kitchen brings me so much joy, it’s doing wonders for my health 💐

obnoxiously loud ‘ding’
every time you press the button or the kettle finish a cycle it has an obnoxiously loud ‘ding’. It stays on and keep the water warm - very high electricity use - the manual suggest to unplug it when not used !!!!!

Great Quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my kettle for about 6 weeks now and I still get a kick out of using it every morning. The chime it makes when you turn it on and when the water has boiled reminds me of the "you can now unfasten your safety belts" announcement on flights. To me that great because it reminds me of travelling.
One thing I would change though is the on button. You really need 2 hands for this. One hand to hold the kettle and the the other to press the button. It's fine for me but wouldn't suit some people.

Nice style and colour

Quiet Kettle

Love this kettle. Boils quickly, quality product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you have temperature control you’ll never go back. I purchased it 2 months ago in silver which I love, looks great.
I like that the temperature control setting is easy to adjust and the charging base takes up minimal space on the bench (as other products temperature buttons are on the base, so it is much larger).
When pressed, the button to boil the kettle makes a little ding like that on an aeroplane, which you get used to but I would prefer a different sound.
The temperature control strip lights up as it’s boiling, which you get used to but I would prefer no lights.
When pouring out excess water from the kettle, best to do via the spout and not by opening the top up, as the filter inside easily falls out, at first annoying but adjusted to pouring out excess water via spout now.
When unboxed, the kettle has a large sticker on it for marketing purposes, but it leaves marks once removed so had to clean it a lot. Would be much nicer to purchase it without a sticker being on it, even one that does peel off easily still leaves marks to clean.
I would recommend this product and purchase it again. I would also consider a smaller version of this kettle if ever on the market as I don’t often boil it to its full capacity.

Stylish and Functional Kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does this kettle look modern , sleek and yet its robust. Amazing green pistachio colour. The lid is SO great the way you simply press and it opens to fill with water. No pulling a lid off or scraped paint.
This kettle makes a sound to reassure you it’s on and then that it’s off, it’s so useful and safe too. You can even choose your temperature . I can’t stop using it and to be honest I feel proud to have a friend over for a cup of coffee to show this off!

It’s very good product

Beautiful Kettle, awesome features.

Not only is it gorgeous looking, but it is very functional and easy to use. The temperature gage is simple and ranges from warm to boiling, it has temp recs for different beverages and the perfect on switch that promises no accidental dry boils. It also 'dings' so you know it is ready. It is pricey but worth it for the quality thus far. Highly recommend.

Mostly Happy with It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this jug about a month ago, love the look and how quick it boils, its quite quiet too, and a good pour. We don't mind the "ding" noise for "on/off", we're quite amused by it. The only issue we're having is with the button on the lid, sometimes when we press it to open the lid to fill the jug, the lid doesn't open, it can take several presses before it pops open. Other than that, we've been happy with it.

Great kettle, worst lid ever
I have had this kettle for about 3 months now and use it almost daily. I was so excited to have a kettle to match my mixer. It genuinely is beautiful, high quality materials and boils to whatever temperature you want quickly and quietly. Even chirps when it's boiled so you can hear it instead of a click - lovely.
The lid though...what were they thinking? How can you make such a high quality product that costs sooooo much money and for most people, is a luxury splurge, yet that stupid button on the lid only opens 40% of the time?! I have never opened that kettle with less than 2 attempts and most of the time, it's more than 2. I'm writing this review after I just tried to open it about 10 times until it finally clicked open...no I'm not kidding.
Is it faulty? Probably not since so many other reviews say the same thing. Of course I ignored them when purchasing because I thought it couldn't be that bad but my god it's infuriating! My husband has announced that he hates that kettle and the only reason we're keeping it is because it cost a fortune.
So honestly, if you love it for the aesthetic, or like me you want to match other appliances, go for it, but don't expect it to open with anything but chaos.

Perfect temperature control.

I love the fact I can boil water to a certain temperature for my green tea. And then reset for black tea. I love it. A few have commented about the ding it makes when it's finished heating. I found it similar to my previous kettle
