Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 in 1 Combi The staff are great however the product is not. Concept is great but is obviously not yet doing as they hope. If meal is not quite cooked on convection oven despite following the limited instructions you cannot just Pop the food back in for 5 minutes longer. The combo has to go through another PREHEAT cycle. Same applies to air fryer. The recipe book has to be downloaded and the recipes are sparse and hard to relate your own recipes to. It didn’t cook as well as suggested It’s not possible to extend cooking times without preheat cycle!. Airfryer plate must be preheated and getting food off and on problematic. Advertising suggests it’s easier to use than it actually is.

The Breville Combi-wave literally has surpassed all expectations with quality and power. What I love most, beside the gentle chime, the stoppable turn table, speedy preheat oven and the soft close door, is the amount of smart features it offers. It has made cooking easy and fun for me and my family. Makes falling in love with the kitchen again so easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have the 3 year warranty, I bought the combi wave 3 in 1, in stainless steel, when i unwrapped it, and was reading the instructions, on page 2 it says if the side cover, inside the microwave, was not attatched, DO NOT USE, returned it 2 days later. Exchanged it i didnt take any notice of the box in the shop, the picture it showed was stainless steel, when i arrived home 1 hour later ( it is a 1 hour, 1 way trip), i unpacked it only to find it was the black model. i didnt want to go back again, as i dont visit the town often., i have uesd the microwave, convection oven, i have not airfried as yet, works great. i guess i should return it and exchange it for the stainless steel one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best combi oven you can buy. It's a pretty amazing appliance with a nice array of cooking methods which has replaced my benchtop oven and a microwave. I have been amazed at how well well the oven setting works when cooking fish portions and chicken tenders. The auto cook food menu is top notch. Of course the microwave is very useful with 10 power levels. The air fryer, although it cooks perfectly, is a bit difficult as you have to preheat the pan with the legs down and then insert the food. Maybe it's just me but it would be simpler if you could leave the legs up and use the trivet under the pan. Well worth the purchase price. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recreating Nanna’s House and her Breville Oven…Feeling Complete At my grandparents’ house they had the Breville oven on their kitchen bench. I loved that oven and it was such an incredible part of cooking. My Nanna loved it too. Years later I bought their house from my father who inherited it when they passed away. I immediately bought the modern version of it as the Smart Oven Air Fryer which looks so similar to that old model and put it in the same spot as that older Breville…and downstairs where our kids now hang out we recently got the Breville Combi Wave 3 in 1. They can get the same great memories. Food, Breville, House. It was an automatic choice. It now feels complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sceptical We had reservations about purchasing the Breville 3 in 1 as we have always gone with another brand with a sense and crisp function for many years. After many reviews our scepticism was erased after first using the product as per the user manual. We made pizza as per instructions and it was cooked to perfection, along with chips and a toasted grilled cheese sandwich. Defrosting the pizza via the functions menu didn’t cook or melt any of cheese, perfection once again. Well done Breville! We look forward to using this product for many years to come.

Do you have any 3 in 1 ovens that can be placed an “opening”? It’s not a cupboard as there’s no front door. The sort of space everyone has been putting microwaves in for 30 years?

Could this microwave be placed in a cabinet or does it need to be placed on the bench?

Hi Louise. The manufacturer states the microwave must not be placed in a cabinet. They suggest a minimum clearance of 20cm between the microwave and any adjacent walls. They also state there should also be a minimum clearance 20cm above the microwave. We trust this helps with your query.

What Amp circuit does this product require? What is the input power use for microwave, grill and convection, respectively?

Thanks for your question. This unit runs at 240V. Electrical devices in New Zealand are rated for a maximum of 10 amps. The Microwave power use is 1100W while the Convection power use is 1500W, this applies to the grill function as well. Hope this helps!

How much free space is needed around the oven please?

Thanks for a great question Anna. A minimum clearance of 200mm clearance is required between the microwave and any adjacent walls, to allow for adequate ventilation. Hope this helps!
