Don't bother! Inverter invalid.
Totally unimpressed. Supposedly an inverter which evenly heats food yet my previous $100 microwave was just as effective. I have tried several settings and still find my food cold in the middle and nuclear around the edges. Really disappointed as this was supposed to be an upgrade. Wish we had just gone with a cheaper model now as pointless paying this much for what we could have got for half the price. Also it condensates really badly which ive never had a problem with before!! We have to leave the door open for a while after using to allow it to properly dry out. Very likely it will rust in time to come.

Do not recommend!
I purchased this microwave based on the fantastic Hisense freezer that we currently own. It has just been a disappointment and hassle. The interior turned matt, mottled and showed signs of rust within 2 months of purchase and Hisense were very difficult to deal with. We got a replacement through Harvey Norman and it did the same thing again in less than a month. The fan isn't sufficiently powered to blow out the steam and condensation so it just sits inside. Our local Harvey Norman store have been absolutely fantastic to deal with and have got us sorted out with a different brand of microwave which we are very happy with. Thanks Harvey Norman for your fantastic customer support.

Do not buy this Hisense Microwave
I just bought the Hisense 34L Inverter Microwave last November 2025. I notice that the internal paint becomes discolored. I contacted the store where I bought and they told me it will take 2-3 weeks just to assess if they will replace it or repair the unit. Ive read some of the reviews here and they have the same situation as mine on the same product. I would not recommend to buy this product and would not recommend you to buy in Harvey Norman NZ. 2-3 weeks is a long time especially if you use the item for everyday use. The situation is a health and safety hazard.

Absolute garbage product
Bought 2 days ago from Harvey Norman Manukau. Used this microwave handful times only and already started to play up. The bottom layer of food is getting warmed but not the top layer even after warming the small bowl of cooked rice for 2.5 mins. Absolute garbage and will not recommend it at all.
