Used primarily to defrost and/or reheat its gradually weakened in power that jobs it took 3 minutes when new now take 5 or 6. MAnual and website offer no realistic fixes

I just wanted a simple microwave and it is meeting our needs just fine. I find the chirpy, upbeat music it plays when done annoying but my daughter loves it.

Thank you LG for great service and I'm confident my new Microwave will be much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Peter321 from Great for the price Good features: * Price is excellent * Very easy to use controls on the outside of the door for setting/changing cooking time - this is a great feature! * Very easy to clean the outside - and the inside is fine too. Wouldn't call these bad - it's just is what it is... * Controls are not as obvious as our old Panasonic - but not difficult to learn - probably caused by the limited space on the panel which is hidden behind the door. * Not huge inside compared to what we had - but it fits normal dinner plates - and the bottom line was we could not think of any reason why it should be bigger as nothing we used to cook exceeded its size limit. * The automatic reheat is acceptable from what we can see - possibly not quite as smart and effective as our previous oven. * If you want a really bright light this one is not blinding - but OK - our last oven's light had not worked for years - so this one is 100% better. Had it for 4 weeks so its longevity is unknown - but it does what it should and we would recommend it.

Feel like its not as powerful as previous microwaves I've had which means things take a little more time. Good compact size. Like the timer buttons, 3 year old son likes the jingle it plays when its finished!

Had it repaired after 1.5 years. its been threatening to blow for the past 6 months, sometimes not working properly. Xmas eve it finally gave up in a cloud of smoke. Not value for money. Out of warranty now :(

I'm not a big fan of the controls on the outer door, as they don't make it easy to quickly enter specific times. The warranty sticker is on the back of the appliance, making it painful to access.

To keep the quality longer, I bought a microwave plate cover to avoid spillages and splattering of food in the interior.

I gave my kitchen joiner the microwave measurements from the "Description" when you scroll down to the bottom. The diagram records the dimensions as W 470mm H 272mm D370mm. I have just seen that the Specs record the W as 476mm? What is correct ?
