You won’t be disappointed
Very happy with this microwave to date. Heats and defrosts evenly unlike my last. The finger slide control couldn’t be easier although I have yet to figure out how to set more specific times. Haven’t had a chance to use the other functions but I’m sure they’re just as easy. Should you not like the sound played after use, if you’re quick enough just open the door as soon as the job’s finished! Also, many people have complained about no timer function. Whilst this did deter me at first from buying, I soon realised this was a very small issue as there are timers available on my oven, cooktop and phone. Please don’t let this deter you from buying!!

lg neochef 42l auto sensor microwave oven
After much research I decided on this Microwave. Partly because we already owned a LG which never once failed us and just needed updating after 15 years and 3 countries. Coincidently my son had also brought a Microwave two weeks earlier, when he dropped in for a visit he said he also read the blogs and brought the exact same oven. Easy to use, large cooking platter, excellent defrost functions. Double door quick access on front panel and access to all easy to read settings when the door is open. Cooking power is fantastic. The bright internal light is a plus. I’ll recommend this to friends and family for sure.

Effective Attractive Microwave
An excellent device, both attractive and yet unobtrusive in spite of its black colour. This is helped by the door that covers the whole frontage, including the control panel, Because it is designed for experienced microwave meal makers, it needs a read of the manual to use to full advantage, but once done it is very easy to use. My only concern is havi9ng to use plus/minus keys to change cooking times up or down in jumps of 10 seconds. If you want to just heat up drinks or soups, there is an almost invisible touch button on the door to apply power for 30 seconds. This is a very good-performing mid-size microwave, highly recommended

So far, so good
Pleased with item. Door closure is solid and doesn't move microwave. You can see inside microwave while it's on, due to a great light. Very easy to use front panel timer with touch keys, however can be hard to see at nighttime as there is no light on panel. The 1200 power doesn't seem as strong as my previous 1200 but it is larger in size, so that might be why. What would have taken 1 min now takes 1 min 20sec. It has a short, pleasant musical tune instead of the annoying beeps when food has finished cooking.If you don't like the sound, you can press stop, and it does stop immediately. Large inside

Great microwave
I bought this a week ago and it's wonderful. Great size, plays music sounds when finished, inverter great, no cooling period after cooking. Looks great in the kitchen and so far it's easy cleaning.

So glad I found this at Harvey Norman after searching and researching many options - styley finish, awesome features. I love this machine! Best ever and best looking ever. Fits into my kitchen beautifully and doesn't beep incessantly like some annoying brands. On top of that such a great price too! Super happy and recommend this product highly.

Great microwave
Our previous LG worked without a beat for 7 years. Time to upgrade and we got the latest version of the similar model. This one is th largest capacity 42L with the smallest form factor. 44L Panasonic one is deeper by 50mm.
Black on black looks cool and with inverter technology food heats up more uniformly. We have been using new one for a month now, no issues. Maybe we'll get another 7 to 10 years out of it as well, fingers crossed :-)

Does the advertised width include space needed for the door when it swings open?
Hi Paul, the width dimension provided refers only to the microwave’s body when the door is closed. It does not include any extra clearance needed for the side‑hinged door to swing open, so you should allow additional space in front and to the side for normal door operation.

What height dimensions are required on a shelf for this item? We have height of 315 mm . Is that too small?
Hi there. The height of the microwave is 310mm. The manufacturer recommends a 150mm clearance on top of microwave for ventilation. The recommended space would then need to be 460mm. Your space would be too small for this microwave. We trust this helps with your query

How do I cook Popcorn as there is no Popcorn button, how long do I need to cook it for?
Thanks for your question Livi. You can use the Manual Cooking function which allows you to cook food for a desired time. There are 10 power levels available. If you do not select the power level, the oven will operate at the maximum level. Further information can be found in the user manual included with the unit.

Hi, does this model have a trim kit, should you decide to put it into an open space in cabinetry. Or is it only for counter top.
Hi Anita, thanks for your question. This does not include a Trim Kit. For installation it will depend on the cabinet space available. For adequate ventilation please allow 15 cm of space on the top and 10 cm at the left & right and 5 cm at the rear. The front of the oven should be at least 8 cm from the edge of the surface to prevent tipping. Hope this helps.
