The most useful benchtop oven ever made....by far!
We absolutely love our oven. So many functions and so easy to use with automatic and combination cooking options to choose from. Baking specialy breads like foccacia, slow-cooked lamb roasts, whicck-cooking fries or steamed dumplings, this oven is amazing.

Love the easy clean interior, and has all the features we wanted - microwave, convection, steam. Controls mate pretty easy to use and as with our previous one we love the drop down door.
Handle feels quality to the touch unlike some others.
All that, and it’s quieter too! Expensive but worth it. Very happy.

Fantastic reliable microwave!

I have just upgraded from a 10 year old microwave and couldn't be happier.
The food is cooked through evenly and thoroughly every time. I was hesitant to change brands but absolutely wrapped with this little beauty!
Highly recommended for anyone after an affordable easy to use microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased this item recently instead of what’s good about this 4 in1 microwave I will list what should be improved the light inside the unit very poor cannot see properly what you are cooking,very difficult to see what’s written on the buttons and you cannot microwave with the metal trays in where my LG you were able to,have cooked one meal so far which was cooked adequately come on Panasonic not every person has x ray vision

Love the steam feature

We are still having some difficulty choosing the right settings for different food items. Frozen pies and chips is not a simple choice and we have had mixed results. We sometimes switch back to straight oven feature as easier to use. Would love better instructions to suit the Australian usage. My wife is Japanese and we love the steam function for Asian cuisine.

Fantastic to have a 4 in 1 cooking appliance

It sits easy to reach on the bench top, good access with pull down door and easy to clean with no turntable to worry about. This is what I’ve been used to on my last microwave and I feel I can’t go back to the traditional opening door. This has pretty much the same features that my last convection oven had. So I’m going to give it a good go and try as many features as I can. It’s very stylish.

It’s definitely not your normal microwave, no spinning turntable in the middle and an open down door vs the conventional open out to the side door.
And that’s sums it up but doesn’t do it justice…it’s not your conventional microwave. It is a next level cooking appliance.
Did a sensor reheat on a meal last night and was absolutely amazed! No cold spot in the middle and no overheating on the outside of the place.
I’m new to the machine but I think it deployed 3 x cooking modes while heating up the food: Microwave, convection and steam.
I was blown away by how good a job it did. It’s early days with this appliance for us but I couldn’t be more impressed. Cooking hasn’t just improved, it’s a next gen evolution.

Amazing all in one microwave

Save me from having all my appliances out. At first I thought 31 L would be too big but it’s the perfect size for whipping up a quick meal doing multiple things at once yet to try all the features but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. My air fryer now sits permanently in the cupboard.

Meats - Frozen or fresh it cooks them very well. Add a steam shot and they are juicy and tender

Versatile Uses & Small Bench Size, Poor Warranty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've just replaced our two months shy of 3 years old same multi oven because it kept cutting out during baking and reverted to 'welcome to your oven' message. It's been a valuable extra oven and very versatile plus a good size to fit on our bench. Fingers crossed this new one doesn't go the same way as the first one. 1 year warranty is very ordinary and tech service is underwhelming.

Hi Rose, you can use your Le Creuset casserole in your Panasonic NN‑CS89LBQPQ when it’s set to convection‑only mode, as this works like a normal fan oven and safely allows metal cookware. Just make sure no microwave or combination (microwave + convection/steam) mode is selected, as cast iron contains metal and must never be used when microwave energy is active.

Can this be installed in a new kitchen as a built in appliances (eg using a trim kit) above an oven?

What kind of trays or dishes (metal or otherwise) can be used for combination cooking - convection and microwave or grill and microwave? Is the enamel tray supplied with the appliance suitable for microwave use?
Hi Linzie. Thanks for your question. Trays / dishes that can be used with combination cooking must be Microwaveable & heatproof. Best to use dishes that you would use in traditional oven cooking like Pyrex dishes. The enamel tray should not be used when you have the oven selected as a microwave. Can this product be placed into a normal microwave cavity, any fire hazards and specifications regarding the room that is needed around the sides top and bottom for airflow?
Hi there, thanks for asking a question. This cannot be in a microwave cavity as it needs sufficient airflow on at least one side. The oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface at least 85cm above the floor. 5cm space at one side, with the other side open. 15cm clearing at the top and 10cm space from the back to a wall. Do not place on a shelf directly above a gas or electrical hob, or place any items on the vents. Hope this helps.
