Works but annoying
It works fine, but very little thought has been put into the interface. I didn't bother to look into the details before I purchased as I figured a brand like Panasonic would have this stuff all worked out.
Biggest annoyance is you can't disable the beep, which is quite loud, and sounds very loud morning / night when kids are sleeping.
Half the time I have to hit "clear" before I can hit the time buttons to have it start again. For example, when cooking something that needs a bit more time, then a bit more time, it gets annoying.
Those are both minor annoyances, but they bug me daily. I wouldn't buy another Panasonic microwave.

Good midsize microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved house and my old microwave was too big. Purchased the Panasonic and have been very happy with it. It is a good size without being too big and taking up a lot of space.
It looks good in our kitchen matching the other appliances and overall works well. I have 2 small issues with it. The black door can be hard to see through at times and you have to open the door to check on food. Also when the time period has finished if you don't press stop you cant enter a new time for cooking. This can be annoying at times. Also you cant enter anything less that 10 seconds which again can be inconvenient.

Interior parts become rusty in 3 to 4 year time
Long term review:
I purchased this Microvawe oven like 3 to 4 years ago from Harvey Norman in Christchurch, NZ and it works perfectly fine and it is quite powerful. The main problem with this oven is that the metal parts of the door from inside as well as the inside of the oven where you put your food in there have become rusty. We have been using this oven at home not in a commercial environment. Hope this helps.

Powerful and well designed microwave. Looks good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this new Panasonic unit a couple weeks ago after our long standing Samsung microwave (from the 90s!) finally stopped heating.
Gotta say, this new Panasonic one has substantially mor power than our last.
Button layout is sensible and it has everything we need.
Aesthetically, it's lovely. Black unit wih stainless steel accents - tied in nicely with the remainder of our similarly styled kitchen.
Price wise, it's in the same region as most others, but after many reviews, we decided with this one as Panasonic are well known to have long lasting products.
Very happy with purchase!

Works well but....
It functions well, have no issues with performance. There is an issue with the plastic covering over the key pad. I have only had it a couple of weeks. After I cleaned the finger marks off the key pad the plastic had a small spilt and has scratch marks all over it. I only used a clean cloth and tea towel to clean it. Not so happy with that part as it now looks well used instead of looking new. Harvey Norman said its best not to remove the plastic covering. Not a well thought out manufacturing part as this is the main part that is used and touched.

Great microwave with just a couple of drawbacks
We've had this microwave for just a few days and generally we're very happy with it, particulary for the price. It's stylish without getting carried away and the buttons and door operation function well. It's also lighter than the competitor 13-year-old model that it replaced, which is good news for the shelf! Still, there are two downsides which are a bit disappointing. One is that the stylish dark glass makes it pretty impossible to see what's happening to your food, even if you try and hide the reflections. You can see in the photo that the light's trying to do its job, but what you can't see in this photo is that there's actually a jug in the microwave. The second disappointment is related to one of the main reasons I bought this model; the sensor. I really liked the idea of throwing a plate of food in there, hitting 'sensor reheat' and letting the microwave get the food to just the right temperature. But on reading the manual (and this should be clearer in the advertising write-ups) the sensor only works when the food is covered by something that forms a seal - specifically, plastic wrap - so that the sensor can correctly measure the humidity of the food. This sensor is also how most of the other functions work. I don't want to use a sheet of plastic wrap every time I want to heat food. We're still happy with the microwave but had we known this was the requirement then we would have been less swayed by the fact the microwave had a sensor. However, in our case this model was priced better than competitor options with or without a sensor, so we're still very happy with our purchase.

Panasonic Inverter Microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My microwave stopped working Friday night. It was 13.5 years old and had been amazing. I was keen to purchase another one similar as I was very happy with it's size, reliability and functions. I was able to find a Panasonic Inverter. Other than a few minor differences, this microwave was the same.
This allowed me to feel comfortable with operating the microwave and not have to worry about changing cooking times. The dimensions were also similar. This was extremely important to me as I had limited options to set up the microwave. I am very happy with my new microwave purchase. Thank you Panasonic.
