Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally Disappointed! I bought this microwave to replace an older model, assuming it would work the same as the last 3 I've had, but nope. They've made the 'Easy Defrost' function overly complicated, having to choose what you're defrosting and then entering the weight, whereas before you could just enter the weight, even worse the minimum weight is 500g, I used to be able to defrost as low as 100g. The buttons are also less sensitive and you have to press harder.

How much clearance does the microwave need around it if it's housed under bench?

Hi there. The manufacturer recommends When the oven is mounted on a kitchen benchtop, allow a space of at least 15cm on the top, 10cm on both sides and 5cm at the rear of the oven for adequate air circulation. When installing on a shelf, the minimum dimension of the shelf should be 720mm(W) x 465mm(H) x 460mm(D). Do not build-in the appliance under the benchtop or any other appliances. Defrost only I am trying to get this to defrost only but it only cooks and defrost Please help me understand how to change this

Thanks for your question Mel. To Defrost, you can refer to page 17 of the instruction manual. These are set automatically by selecting the Meat or Poultry option, which is then divided into sub types, then weight, before selecting a defrost time and prompting further info on screen. can you tell me if this unit inside the oven is ceramic, or lined with other....has all other features that i want but have had a bad experience with different lining. if this one is not suitable, would you have a 32L, inverted ceramic lining,

Thanks for your question Lorry. The only microwaves that have the ceramic lining are the Samsung models, however, they are not inverted. LG’s are a bit bigger at 42L with an ‘antibacterial coating'. We recommend calling or visiting your nearest Harvey Norman branch directly and they will be able to find a suitable model according to your needs. Trust this helps!
