Still wonderful after 55 years
[Employee of kenwood-ww] I was given a Kenwood Chefette as an engagement present in 1969. I loved it, so bought a Kenwood Chef before we migrated to Australia in 1977 - brilliant. Sadly it dropped off the top of my fridge a few years ago. But my trusty Chefette is still going strong - over 55 years!

Great mixer!
Great product! It suits my needs perfectly. I had a Chefette many years ago which died of old age in the end and was thrilled to find out that Kenwood still made them. I was a little disappointed that so much of it is made out of plastic but having the metal bowl is much better than the glass one that the Chefette used to have. I highly recommend this product.

Great value and proven quality
This is used on an almost daily basis. We are a cook from raw ingredients household and this compact but powerful unit is versatile as a handheld or mounted with the bowl. It's a great meet up between the bigger bench mixers and a handheld unit.

It is quite flimsy and needs careful handling when moving stand up and down. Very robust mixing bowl. This is perfect for my needs and very cheap.

The worst mixer I've ever owned
Very flimsy design, just not up for any job in the kitchen. It's honestly the worst mixer I've ever owned, and at age 74, I've owned very many. Thirty years ago my (then) husband bought me a Kenwood (top of the range mixer) and so I figured the brand name would ensure my purchase was satisfactory. How wrong i was.

Highly recommend the Kenwood Chefette !
Really happy with my purchase! The Kenwood Chefette is easy to use. Bowl is deep and rotates well for a good mix. Nice light lid to prevent splashes and bowl etc are dishwasher safe. Low noise and fits easily in the cupboard. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Andrew the Sales Assistant was great- knowledgeable and friendly!

What is the RPM for the Kenwood chevette
Thanks for your question Barbar. We can confirm the RPMs for the Chefette HMP54 model are 550 at Min, 800 at Mid, and 1000 at Max settings. It also has an 1100 RPM when on Pulse. Trust this helps clarify! ^CO
