Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent machine. I love this machine, just right for my needs. I have never had a dough hook before and it makes kneading a breeze. Everything feels solid and well made and the large bowl with the handle is excellent. The smaller bowl is handy too along with the other attachments. I haven't turned the speed up to full yet as it feels like the machine might rattle off the bench, but the lower speeds are quite adequate. The 10 year warranty is great too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed! Could not be more disappointed with my Kenwood. I have had a Kenwood for the past 23 years and decided to upgrade to the Titanium Baker in Silvee. I did not expect the head head to move around so much especially when making dough. As for the scales, keep getting an error code E12 and they never zero correctly. Will be taking this up with Kenwood. Recommend you research before purchasing this Kenwood model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grunty and sturdy The machine is big and relatively sturdy. I needed a strong one to make sour doughbread, and all other ones in the same price range were less grunty than this one. It works well in that regard, made a few great loaves, biscuits, pizza - it just works which is what I hope for in an appliance. Two points of feedback though, and probably worth knowing: 1) It's not easy to clean - too many nooks and cranny you can just get the flour out of easily. 2) When you look up the accessories for this, they all got super bad reviews. I would have been interested in the mill, but apparently it's abysmal. I've no need for pasta maker or meat grinders, so I'll just use the mixer on its own I suppose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inter generational Kenwood pleasure I grew up with my mother’s Kenwood as her pride and joy for about 40 years. It worked well past her lifetime and when it eventually failed, my brother was still able to fix it. My daughter’s warmest memory (and one of only a few she had because she was young when Mum passed) is making shortbread with her Grandma. And my daughter, now grown up, still uses our Kenwood to make shortbread every now and then. I have always coveted the black model since I first saw it and with a recent work bonus, justified it when it was on a great special recently. It is a piece of art in my kitchen, so versatile and a pleasure to use…the engineering perfection and reliability is an expectation and a reality. Every time we use our Kenwood, we have beautiful inter generational memories.

The large one is really large to make a big batch of dough. It is really sturdy and heavy in weight and do the job effeciently. The black colour though is slightly hard to maintain as all the finger prints shows on it. The best part is the built in weighing scale which is very useful as you don’t need an extra gadget to measure your ingredients. This has been a very valuable addition to my kitchen and i have been using and really enjoying baking these days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy workhorse The range of attachments and the 2nd bowl made this for me - their usefulness cannot be understated! I did a LOT of research before buying this machine and I am pleased with it so far. It does shake quite a lot when kneading dough, but it doesn’t sound like it’s strained at all. The weighing function is fantastic and has been really useful for cakes. The sleek black look is really classy. I was worried that it would feel too big, but I feel like it’s a great size - especially with the two bowl sizes.
