Very useful.
I have an old mixer that I bought at a garage sale. When cooking, I often need two bowls and am very pleased that this 3Qt nests inside the larger one--I don't always need the larger size and it makes storage a breeze.

does not fit my mixer
i bought this a couple years ago. It does not properly fit on the stand and when I try to mix with it, the bowl spins off and contents go everywhere. Not sure that mixer this bowl is for.I have model K45SS..

Perfect size
So pleased with this size bowl, my kitchen aid which I have had for 14yrs and is still going strong only came with the 1 bowl which was the large one and was a little annoying if you had smaller mixes to do so pleased the new kitchen aids come with the 2 now which I have purchased one for my daughter because she loved using mine and was super impressed with its capabilities

Keeping it Simple

Much as I love my larger stainless steel Kitchen Aid bowl for the MANY things I use it for, I'm so glad I invested in the smaller 2.8L stainless steel bowl. Small bowl for small jobs. It just makes sense. As it doesn't have a handle, it stores inside the larger bowl when not in use. Even better! Less is more.

Great back-up bowl!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic bowl for whisking egg whites that need to be folded into the main mix. Previously, I used the one original bowl for mixing, this required transferring the mixture, washing the bowl, beating the egg whites and adding the original mixture to fold it all together. With the new bowl, no transferring or washing required. It's a time saver!

Convenient to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bowl a few weeks ago and it makes cleaning up a lot easier because I don't have to wash the 4.8L bowl in between using the machine for different components of one dish. I don't like how the bowl stains easily from fingerprints but it is very easy to clean up! Am very tempted to buy another one of this bowl.

Very Handy Small Bowl

Does the 2.8 bowl fit the artisan mini?
I'm not sure, but I would think it does.
