robust beaters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace our prior different brand where metal within beaters had worn down to fine strands in a couple of places. Kitchenaid beaters look and feel reassuringly sturdy in comparison and are performing effortlessly well on biscuit doughs, cheesecakes, whipped cream, eggs, cakes and milkshakes so far. Quiet even on full speed. Light and easy to handle but good control. Speed resets automatically to lowest when switched on which avoids unexpected splashes. Very happy with purchase and feel this was well worth the price premium for what seems so far to be a v high quality product.

Perfect Handheld Mixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a person who does not really like Kitchen appliances. I have the basics - toaster, electric kettle, blender and that's it for electric applicances. I've had many appliances in the past and found that I just didn't use them enough to justify the expense and cupboard space.
The KitchenAid Artisan 9 Speed Hand Mixer is a perfect little mixer. It does everything I need it to do, takes up minimal space in my pantry and produces excellent results.
I would highly recommend this appliance to anyone who has limited storage space for a stand mixer or limited budget. It's a great little appliance and I love it.

Lightweight, stylish and electric speed control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine replaced a very old and reliable Kenwood. I have used it a couple of times - making up a big batch of cake mixture which, while being quite small, did a great but not awesome job. And whisking eggs which was also great. The first speed is sooo slow which is greatly appreciated! The electric speed controls are wonderful. The stainless mixers are a lot smaller than my original Kenwood ones and the whisk is fairly fine. The odd attachment is the milk frothier which is plastic and as such I have not used it.

Replacement Hand Mixer
I am hoping that this hand mixer will be of the standard I expect from Kitchen Aid based on my many other Kitchen Aid appliances. The one it is replacing was very disappointing and failed after only a couple of years of light use

Disappointed with short life span
This is not long out of warranty and stopped working while making some icing.
My previous Sunbeam lasted for over 10 years. Very disappointed

Kitchen Aid Artisan 9 Speed Hand Mixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this around two months ago and I am very, very disappointed with it and want to return it. It just has no guts in it. Even on speed 9 it lacks umph/speed. The beaters are so difficult to release as well. I really regret buying this. The previous Breville Hand Mixer I had was superb. It also had the 'Turbo' function which was terrific.

I just love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not quite sure what it is in its design, but this mixer is very comfortable to hold on to. I look forward to pulling it out of the cupboard to work with every time. When I get it up to full speed it doesn’t sound like it has that much grunt, but it is super effective and beats and whips things up in no time. I have tried a fair few makes and models in the past, ones I’ve owned as well as those belonging to different family members, but I’m really happy to say this is my favourite so far!

After having to dispose of my 25 year old hand mixer, I have replaced it with this little beauty. I have only had this hand mixer for a month so not sure on it life performance at this stage. So far, I love everything about it. Lovely to the eye and works beautifully. Light in weight, quiet and does a great job. Very happy with the choice of attachments.

Do you have a picture that shows the cord. I am left handed so wanted to know how the cord position would work for me.
The cord can be set to either left, right or in the middle. I use my mixer using either hand depending on what I am doing during the process of baking.
