Perfect first step
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hand mixer because I need to understand if I’m going to enjoy diving headlong into the baking rabbithole. Committing to an Artisan was a step too far for me - today - but the hand mixer is perfect.
I love the aesthetic, it looks great and is balanced beautifully. I love the 9-speed selection and the digital display. It comes with all the attachments I’ll need initially.
I absolutely will be recommending this product. It’s not going to be so great for preventing weight gain, but at least it’ll be pleasurable.

So quiet! So powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago when my old one of 20 years (different brand) finally gave up and I realised that it wasn’t me that was the good baker, it was all down to my electric beater! My daughter commented “mum, it is so QUIET!!” And I had to reply “yes darling, that’s the sound of money” as that’s what my dearly departed sister always said when she bought something expensive and good quality!!! It does a fabulous job, looks amazing, all in all I love it. I also love the cloth bag that holds all the accessories, as opposed to some competitors beaters that I looked at with plastic containers - kitchenaid are a great brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 3 speed hand mixer from another maker and it did its job, usually with a bit of splatter involved. I inadvertently threw it out in the garbage due to a cluttered kitchen bench ( my fault). As a result, I was in the market for a new hand mixer - corded, and for some reason the Artisan caught my eye. So i spent a little more than I would normally for a kitchen appliance but I'm glad I did. The soft start makes a big difference in containing splatter and by having a lot more speed control over the mixing is great. After using it for a month I am very happy with my purchase and wish I had lost my previous mixer sooner.

Excellent Hand Mixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of months ago and used it many times. Very happy with the product. Light weight and quiet. Mixes well. Many different speed settings. 2 reasons I didn't give 5 stars - it feels like the lower speeds are too slow and constantly pressing the speed increase button to go to high speed. You can only gradually increase the speed as there is only speed up and down button. The other reason is the Kitchenaid brand label seems to be loose and not sticking properly. It might come off eventually. However, none of these issues are deal breakers.

Handy little mixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace a >20 year old hand mixer - and I love it. Sturdy to hold, gorgeous to look at, and the mixing attachments are a solid stainless steel and feel very robust. I really like the bag for the attachments; it means I'm not rustling through the draw pulling out kitchen tools looking for the second beater. Performance so far is great too, although pancake batter has been the main staple. Overall, I recommend the product, especially if you're looking for a kitchen hand mixer that is solid in build, dependable, and looks amazing too.

Artisan 9 speed hand mixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last hand mixer belonged to my late mother in law & was from the 1960s? I kept it for as long as I could for sentimental reasons but when I last tried to whip cream and it curdled before thickening I knew it was time!!
My daughter is a huge fan of Kitchenaid so I bought a red hand mixer (coz red goes faster 😂😂😂).
I was amazed how quiet & efficient it is! I LOVE it!
Why did I take sooo long to upgrade??? (Sorry mum!)
Sooooo recommend this hand mixer to everyone! Next I’m asking for money for Mother’s & Birthday to purchase a stand mixer!!

Very happy:))
Have been waiting to put my new mixer to use with my Christmas baking. My shortbread is always good ( if I can say so myself!!) but I think this year’s batch is the best yet. Creaming the butter and sugar was a breeze and I didn’t lose butter flying out of the bowl, with the slow start and gradual speed increments. Very happy.

My Kitchenaid hand mixer was purchased to replace a budget range stand mixer I had for many years. I do a lot of cooking including making our own sourdough twice a week. The Kitchenaid hand miexer is powerful but light and has no trouble tacking everything I throw at it. Very happy with it.

Perfect for every use!
My first ever high quality hand mixer and I love it! It’s worth every cent especially with how quiet it is, the vibrant red colour and the various attachments that comes with it! You can whip up some cake batter, cookie dough, whisk your eggs until they’re light and fluffy, you can even make yourself some nice iced coffee or some quick foam to top off your coffee if you don’t want to start your espresso machine

A very handy device

The only improvement i would want to see in this would be to make the speed button of a different design, may be a rolling button. The button is to be pressed with a bit of pressure but with my longer fingernails, i fear to cut the the rubber button or break my nail if i press into it too hard.

Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a stand mixer also but this hand held one is perfect and so handy for smaller jobs. Still is powerful and so efficient as the bigger one. Is ergonomically designed, easy to grip, rubberised part is made of quality material.
A minor thing that could be improved is the speed command pad which is made of rubber but I expect it to became worn out and even get a hole after some usage. Seems that the actual button underneath is sort of edgy and protrusive.

Very quiet running.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because an American relation of mine had one and it had a grungy motor and was very quiet running with no high pitched screaming that most other hand held beaters have. When I got it though I was a bit disappointed because it was smaller and very anoying to turn on and off. Instead of the usual one action button that slides up it down to change the speed or turn it off it has a sideways switch and then an up or down arrow for soeed. It’s totally crazy and I probably wouldn’t have purchased it had I known. I guess I’ll get used to it but that’s the feature I really hate. It needs to be simple not
having a two action operation to work it.

I bought this product a couple of months ago and it is absolutely wonderful. I could not believe how quiet it was when in use! Strong and sturdy accessories that make the beating of ingredients so quick and easy. I have used alla accessories bar the dough hooks at this stage and they all perform to a high standard and carry out their specific tasks quickly. Amazing wee appliance and well worth the money I paid for it. I was surprised how light it was considering how sturdy it is - that is an advantage in my opinion!! Thank you for another great piece of equipment for my kitchen.

It came with a cute little bag with compartments to store all the attachments. The product is classy and efficient. My box was missing one attachment and had two dough attachments. I contacted the service team who promptly responded and are sending the missing attachment. I am truly impressed by their professionalism.
I made a Berry trifle this summer with my new hand mixer and could immediately notice the difference! Must buy for all home bakers!

Very happy with my purchase. Love it in black!
I purchased my unit a month ago & have only used the beater attachment so far. Worked well, but I didn’t feel the highest speed was very powerful. Not sure how other thicker mixtures will work. That would really be my only concern, as it is a truly beautiful unit! I purchased it to replace a 30 year old KMart brand (that still works, btw).

Kitchen hand mixer the best
I really love my kitchenaid hand mixer. It’s easy to use and more importantly easy to clean and because it’s compact so easy to store as well as it doesn’t take up a lot of storage space.
Great for those who live on their own or live in an apartment as it does a lot of what the full size mixed do but only smaller.

Lightweight, stylish and electric speed control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine replaced a very old and reliable Kenwood. I have used it a couple of times - making up a big batch of cake mixture which, while being quite small, did a great but not awesome job. And whisking eggs which was also great. The first speed is sooo slow which is greatly appreciated! The electric speed controls are wonderful. The stainless mixers are a lot smaller than my original Kenwood ones and the whisk is fairly fine. The odd attachment is the milk frothier which is plastic and as such I have not used it.

Substance and style. Strong and versatile.

A lightweight mixer that does a good job on light mixtures. But is unsteady on high volume thicker mixtures and jumps around. Also the beaters are very short so mixture tends to spiral up the beaters towards the body of the machine causing problems. The dough hooks are OK. Overall it does what it needs to do on light quick mixtures, probably OK on packet mixtures but I make all my baking goods from scratch and it does not live up to my needs or expectations.

I just love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not quite sure what it is in its design, but this mixer is very comfortable to hold on to. I look forward to pulling it out of the cupboard to work with every time. When I get it up to full speed it doesn’t sound like it has that much grunt, but it is super effective and beats and whips things up in no time. I have tried a fair few makes and models in the past, ones I’ve owned as well as those belonging to different family members, but I’m really happy to say this is my favourite so far!

So impressed with my new Hand Mixer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of making my bread by hand, I have just used my brand new hand mixer to knead my dough, and I am so impressed. I always thought that 'hand made' must be best, however, almost to my reluctant surprise, the bread dough was better than I have ever made, and the finished loaf had a superior crumb. Despite my initial trepidation using dough hooks, the mixer was a dream to use and well balanced to hold, no counter mess with hand kneading, and my poor old wrists can now have a rest!

The amount of speeds to mix with us wonderful, I’ve never had a mixer that can operate at such a slow speed which is great when adding ingredients or starting a mix, it gets rid of splatters and can be increased gradually and easily with the finger controls while still mixing. Also love the colour (red) which matches my other kitchenaid appliance and the range of beaters that come with it.

Yesterday , I was making a baked ricotta tart so I trialled my hand mixer for the first time.
I was both excited and so happy because what the hand mixer lacks in size it makes up in performance . Simply a pocket rocket !!

Great beaters but attachments are too short
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this is great. It’s powerful but quiet, lightweight and ergonomical. The only issue I have is that the actual beaters aren’t quite long enough. So if you have a deep bowl, you have to put it on a funny angle. For this reason alone, I’m not sure I would recommend it because it’s something I find quite annoying and surprising for such a highly praised kitchen appliance brand. It would have also been great if it had Pulse button to clean the mixture off the beater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So pleased with my new KitchenAid 9 speed hand mixer. Three reasons why I am so happy are 1. Keeps it promise 2. Sound and 3. Flexibility.
1. Keeps its promise - this product is so easy to use. The slow start makes it easy to start mixing without everything going everywhere - and it is so easy to adjust the speed to complete the task at hand. It has control, power and does the job - exactly what it said on the package.
2. Sound. What I didn't expect was how quiet it was. I could do everything I needed to do and it was so quiet. Living in an open space, this was important. I meant I wasn't disturbing anyone else.
3. Flexibility. When you have a small kitchen, space is important. This hand mixer gives me the flexibility to work anywhere in my small kitchen. I can use the immersion blender in one part of my kitchen and then quickly turn around and start to use the mixers. Super flexible.

Do you have a picture that shows the cord. I am left handed so wanted to know how the cord position would work for me.
The cord can be set to either left, right or in the middle. I use my mixer using either hand depending on what I am doing during the process of baking.
