Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performance I always need a handheld beater when making things and I finally bought a Kitchen Aid one and it is brillant. I love how I now have beaters that are for beating and whisk that will do my cream ever so lightly. What is also great is there is a blender that attaches to the hand mixer so no need of a separate blender now. It is easy in your hand and not heavy at all when having to whip or beat something for a while. There is a very handy accessory bag to put your beaters into. No more trying to find them in my drawer. Perfection. What's not to love re the colour also but for me it is the great performance of this hand mixer. 9 Speeds and they all work a treat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got exactly what I wanted in a hand mixer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this online, 3 weeks before Christmas in my wife's favourite colour - Empire Red, thinking it would not be delivered in time for Christmas. But it arrived in that last week on my birthday - 23 Dec, 2 days before Christmas and just in time as my wife was baking 800 German style biscuits - so she used it straight away. I captured the whole thing on video.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not supposed for any kind of dough I bought this just over 2.5 yrs but it burnt out while mixing 300g dough, it always had trouble on doughs, I just never thought it would burn out since I trusted the brand and the machine. So if you only want to use to whip and love kitchenaid, you could invest in this otherwise cheaper brands would do the job.

Kitchenaid beaters look and feel reassuringly sturdy in comparison and are performing effortlessly well on biscuit doughs, cheesecakes, whipped cream, eggs, cakes and milkshakes so far. Quiet even on full speed. Light and easy to handle but good control. Speed resets automatically to lowest when switched on which avoids unexpected splashes. Very happy with purchase and feel this was well worth the price premium for what seems so far to be a v high quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Range of speeds & quiet operation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer based on its good looks, but hopeful that as it was from the esteemed KitchenAid brand that its performance would also impress. I was not disappointed! So impressed that the slow speeds mean no more mixture on bench, walls, etc, and that with an open plan kitchen/living, the quietness of the mixer means no intrusion on conversations. I am converted, and will over the next few years aim to upgrade all of my lesser small kitchen appliances to superior KitchenAid ones (just yesterday I bought the mini chopper). I love any opportunity to use my new mixer, and its various attachments!

I’ve always wanted one since I bought one for my daughter -in-law. I love the pistachio colour. Having the whisk attachment is fantastic when I’m making a dish with beaten egg whites. No more washing the beaters to whisk egg whites. The hand mixer as with all KitchenAid products has once again exceeded all my expectations. I would be so happy if the 5 cup food chopper was available in pistachio or pink. I look forward to buying more KitchenAid appliances. My 13 cup food processor is still my most used appliance and I’ve had it for nearly 10 years.

I was blown away and made such a difference to my baking. I was very surprised how quiet it was overall, now I don’t have to worry about waking the kids up. The attachments are very sturdy and will get through the toughest mixes with ease. Good design so the wire doesn’t get in the way and sits up nicely when not in use. The speed settings are excellent and actually do what they are supposed to. Beautiful design and super happy with the bonus bag and extra attachments. Delivery was quick and super happy with my purchase!!

I have the basics - toaster, electric kettle, blender and that's it for electric applicances. I've had many appliances in the past and found that I just didn't use them enough to justify the expense and cupboard space. The KitchenAid Artisan 9 Speed Hand Mixer is a perfect little mixer. It does everything I need it to do, takes up minimal space in my pantry and produces excellent results. I would highly recommend this appliance to anyone who has limited storage space for a stand mixer or limited budget. It's a great little appliance and I love it.

Do you have a picture that shows the cord. I am left handed so wanted to know how the cord position would work for me.

The cord can be set to either left, right or in the middle. I use my mixer using either hand depending on what I am doing during the process of baking.
