The results were always good but the process involved meant I only made it only occasionally - particularly waiting for the exact right time for the dough to dry enough to cut it without sticking or having to individually pull them apart. I finally invested in the KitchenAid auto rollers and couldn't be happier. It is so much faster and there is no need to wait between rolling out the sheets and cutting the pasta. Cuts perfectly every time. No it's no problem to make fresh pasta weekly.

First time making pasta today and I can’t believe how easy it is! I’m completely blown away and totally in love with the ease and speed compared to making pasta by hand! I’ve had a manual pasta machine for years, it takes a lot of effort and clean up, and hard on my hands (arthritis) always worth it for the result of course. This attachment is high quality, as are all Kitchenaid items, easy to fit, easy to use and virtually no clean up. I’ll be making pasta regularly now, thank you Kitchenaid team!

If you have ever made pasta by hand you know how hard the dough is and how much work you put into it. I have bought this set for my recent kitchen aid (that I love) and I couldn’t be happier with the ease of pasta making. Not only can you mix the dough in the kitchen aid, thinning the dough is easy with these attachments. The high quality stainless steel helps the dough go through the rollers with ease and the cutters provide perfect strands of pasta for fast cooking. These items are a work of art and the weight of them is really indicative of how well made they are.

I literally used it ONE TIME this past Sunday on Easter to make fresh pasta. The sheet roller now has 8 CRACKS in the plastic. FROM ONE TIME USE! This is absurd and so disappointing! I would like a replacement at no cost. I have no use for the other cutters that came with it if the roller doesn't function properly!

We had no issues rolling pasta sheets out and were happy with the results. We rolled out on setting 4 which is the recommended thickness for the spaghetti attachment. However upon feeding the first sheet into the spaghetti attachment, one of the two plastic comb “guards,” found on the bottom receded. The pasta dough suddenly began backing up and the attachment became clogged. No amount of fiddling has been successful in getting the plastic guards back into place. No spaghetti was actually produced and the rollers still have dough stuck in them. We switched to the fettucini attachment and it worked fine. We would like to have it repaired or replaced but both efforts at reaching customer service to initiate a replacement have been a bust.

But these units especially the adjustable flat roller are a total nightmare to clean. Can't just put them in the dishwasher. You have to hand clean. And there are massive numbers of little cracks and crevices you have to get into to clean. And the plastic parts fall apart almost immediately.

I made several flat sheets then cut them into spaghetti so I didn’t have to switch rollers as often. Also dusted the flat sheets with flour so they didn’t stick when cut into strands.

I’ve already used it multiple times. Made spaghetti and fettuccine. A pasta recipe is simple, most important is having the correct flour 00. It’s very simple to use. start at 1 on the flat roller and work your way up one at a time. I stop around 5/6 before I switch to the spaghetti or fettuccine roller. I find it’s much easier and more efficient to cut the flat sheet of pasta into 30/45cm long pieces and roll them thru one at a time instead of one really really long piece of spaghetti or fettuccine.

For the amount of money we spend on our mixers and the numerous attachments we all own, I don't feel like it should break this easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the pasta attachments for spaghetti, fettuccine and lasagna.I will never buy store pasta again, the egg pasta recipe is bullet proof each time it has come out perfectly. Easiest is the clean up, helpful tip, when you’re finish making the pasta you want lightly dust with corn flour and it won’t stick as it’s not gluten so the pasta won’t feed off it. I am so happy with this machine xx

He bought it for me because my adult children always pick homemade pasta for their family birthday celebrations dinner. For the past 25 years I have used my manual pasta maker to make the pasta for our celebrations, but it took many hours to make enough pasta to feed 12 people and my back and neck suffered for days afterwards. I was able to make enough pasta in a fraction of the time with the KitchenAid attachments and everyone said that the raviolis and linguine tasted even more delicious because the attachment got the dough thinner than I was ever able to get it with the manual pasta maker. I was able to enjoy my family celebration because I had more time and no back pain. I used the recipe that came with the attachments. It was really delicious.

It does the work for you. Also have the spiralizer, pasta, and sausage attachments. Pasta is so easy to do, and impressive to your friends! It was a 2 people job, sometimes 3, if we wanted to make sure the thickness or thinness) was just right. A lot of work, trial and error later, we would have pasta. It is now soooo quick! This takes so much of pressure out of rolling and cutting! The results are consistent every time, the whole process is just more enjoyable - and I can do it all just myself, no need to coordinate 4 hands around a sheet of pasta. It is also fairly easy to clean, if you flour it before rolling or cutting.

But the roller can't work well, doesn't roll. I was trying to reach the customer services to return or exchange. But they don't have any services after 4pm PCT and over weekend. So bad.
