It looks so good on the kitchen bench without having to hide away in cupboard like the previous toaster
The black goes with my other stuff
A very sexy looking made and design, clean cut design
Outside material of toaster does show fingerprints to spoilt
Love the small band of aluminium round the bottom to contrast the black
Looks beautiful in my new kitchen when my friends visit
So easy to use with the settings
I love it together with my jug with aluminium

Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our “old” kitchen-aide toaster went pop! inside the warranty period. The old long model had poorly designed controls.They sent me a refund straight away. Excellent service!
Anyway, they have improved the design of the toast lever which now resembles a piece of toast. Easy! The darkness control could be slightly smaller or of a design which avoids inadvertently changing the toast duration.

Perfect everyday toaster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this KitchenAid 2-slice toaster. The design looks premium and solid, and it feels like a high-quality appliance. The toast comes out evenly golden every time, and the lift-and-look function is so helpful because I don’t accidentally burn anything.
It heats quickly, the slots fit both thick bread and bagels, and the controls are very intuitive.
The only tiny thing I’d improve is the cord length, but overall this is one of the best toasters I’ve owned. Highly recommended.

KMT2109 Toaster stylish but slow to toast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this KMT2109 Toaster the same time as the KEK1701 Kettle my first Kitchen Aid purchases.
It looks stylish in the kitchen and cooks toast nicely when you crank it all the way up to the maximum setting (for normal white (Abbotts) bread).
I have also cooked raisin bread which it also does a good job of.
I bought this product about a month ago and it works well, but, I need to get some crumpets to see how the variable toasting on different sides works, but given that normal bread needs to be put on maximum setting I expect crumpets will need 2 runs through this toaster to crisp up their face.
It is quite slow to toast, so would be good if it had a countdown led indicator (so you don't feel the need to check on its progress, which you can't do as it doesn't have a lift to look mechanism)
Overall this seems to be a well made toaster and I look forward to using it for some time into the future.

Wow!

It’s nice and quick and toasts perfectly. Couldn’t be happier. The colour matches my mixer and mini chopper. Looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago to replace the kitchen aid toaster that i have had for 10 years, the new one is great but you have to defrost the bread before you toast it. didnt have to do that with the old one. cooks the bread very envenly.

Excellent toaster
