Just doesn't do the job.
I bought this toaster about a month ago, based on the brand name ,I use Vogels bread for my toast and even adding on the defrost button, I still have to put it down one and a half times to toast properly.

Disappointing
I haven’t been able to have brown toast without burnt edges! It must be something to do with the “50% Faster Technology”. It just seems to be too hot to achieve a golden “toastiness”.
To achieve brown toast, each slice has to have burnt edges scraped off and even then the bread is more singed than toasted.
I’ve been making tea and toast for my wife for 40 years. After 2 months of trying to get it right, I’ve had to conclude that this appliance is a dud.

Disappointing
Does not toast properly burnt on outside uncooked inside
This model burns on outside while uncooked on inside I have just replaced your previous model which has worked perfectly for over 5 years
This model is too fast. May suit thin white bread bot not thicker wholemeal

So bad as to be unusable!
This toaster toasts only the edges of the bread - and more so on one side. To toast the middle of the bread when adjusting the setting - you will have burnt crusts and pale brown inside bread. Too brittle to be edible! Russell and Hobbs should recall this dud.! An expensive total waste of money!

Worst Toaster
This is a useless toaster - either burns or undercooks bread. No setting produces nicely browned toast without burnt edges. Have to lower and raise bread numerous times to get even a semblance of toast. Have had Sunbeam and Breville and both performed well for many years. This is a crap toaster!

Poor performance
I bought this toaster 2 weeks ago and it already the bread carriage lever mechanism has stopped working. The bread needs to be toasted twice to get an even colour. I am unhappy with the performance and the cheap quality of the product even though it was bought on Special.

Super quick, but super ugly
I love that this toaster is so quick, but it seems to be literally the only one available with quick toast feature (or increased wattage). It looks like it is straight out of my grandmother's kitchen in the 1980s. Why isn't there an astheticly pleasing toaster that can do toast in 90 seconds? Seriously it's so ugly my wife won't allow it on the kitchen bench, it has to stay out of sight. But at the same time I refuse to go back to a rubbish 900w toaster that takes 4 minutes to toast...
So please RH give us a decent looking version of these quick toasters
