However, in order to toast to our satisfaction the control has to be set at 2.5 and put through for a 2nd time as the higher temperatures toasts the outside too fast and leaves the inside too soft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic in looks, not sure if classic in quality I've had the same model of Russel Hobbs toaster for over 20 years and it was awesome, obviously if it lasted that long. Unfortunately it stopped working recently so I replaced it with the new model. Looks the same, but I think they don't make them quite like they used to. So far, so good. Seems a bit lighter than the old model. Click and collect was ready the next morning so pretty happy with the service.

When we bought our 1st toaster a few years back…gave it 5 stars 😍 When it died went out and bought another, that one lasted 2 years, but it started to either overcook, or not not toast at all no matter where it was adjusted then it died. So 1 week in with a new one….sorry to say it’s crap. Same thing. Will be looking elsewhere when this one dies or we kill it.

I don’t know how long I have had my toaster, it just keeps doing it’s job ! I also have a RH slow cooker, kettle and rice cooker. Good quality products and cool design, what more could you want !

The first 2 slices are toasted well, but when I toast another 2 slices straight after, they are under done. Harvey Norman have agreed to exchange, so I’m happy with there service.
