Disappointed
We asked for SMEG appliances for our wedding and the toaster's middle element stopped working just 2 months after the end of the two year warrentee. For the price this was extremely dissapointing!

Extremely Difficult to Clean
I have had this toaster and crumbs become lodged inside very diffiulct to clean - tweesers they are lodge insided an not possible to even remove screws

Great toaster
This is super compact and does the job well. I like the toast from frozen button because i often freeze my bread. It is fast and powerful, i have never set the dial past a 3 for my toast. Toaster grips to the bench well. I do miss knowing how long it has left to cook like i had with my previous toater on a led light bar but I'm sure ill learn to time it again

First toaster the middle element gave up inside 12 months, smeg sent us a new one and told us to chop the cable off the old one. Disappointing as it could easily have been fixed.
Second toaster started short circuiting the house inside 12 months.
Kettle also no good - the plastic covering started bubbling off.

Beautifully designed and performs well. The colour is nice black and sits smart and elegant in the kitchen. Very happy with the toasting as well. Easy to use and high quality. I love the fact that it has crust collecting tray which makes it easy to clean and maintain.
Totally recommend this toaster in terms of quality, performance, look and colour.
