My poor old girl has dementia and during an episode of confusion, got into a carpeted room to go to the toilet recently. I had this room professionally cleaned less than a month ago, and clearly they did a poor job. I have been a Shark vacuum lover for over 10 years and decided to just get my own capet cleaner in case of more accidents - and I was not disappointed! Easy to use, deep deep deep cleaning, dry mode only to save extra drying time, and smells amazing!! I can't wait to do the rest of the house!

Found it had better suction very compact, cleaned and left a nice fragrance that lasted maybe half n hour before it faded. I like how the machine stops when dirty water is full. Dries very quickly even without express drying. Only flaw is the water capacity, if your house if almost filled with water, you keep having to fill water a lot! The bristles don’t get tangled with hair or pet fur. Very happy with purchase. Better than the other carpet cleaner I was using.

I originally got the spot cleaner for pets and the amount of cat hair it pulled out of my carpet was mind blowing. I’ve just gotten the full size pet version of the carpet cleaner and I’m so happy. It’s so fast and got even more hair out of the carpet. Cleaning it was easy. Using it was easy. Setting it up was easy. Best purchase ever.

Can this be used as just a regular vacuum or is it just carpet cleaner/water clean machine?

Hi there. The Shark CarpetXpert HairPro Pet with Built-In StainStriker cannot be used solely as a vacuum; it is designed to be used as a carpet cleaner for wet cleaning or for dry cleaning using its dry-only mode for suction. The machine is intended for cleaning carpets and uses either a wet process with a cleaning solution or a dry-only suction mode to remove debris. It is not a traditional vacuum and cannot be used for general vacuuming tasks, especially on hard floors. We trust this helps with your query

There are no accessories holder/ base cover
