I bought this vacuum on 30th March. It sucks well but it also sucks at cleaning a rug - not shag pile; just a normal rug. Both heads supplied with the unit are extremely difficult to push around on the rug, whatever the setting. If you reduce the suction it doesn't clean up. it transfers e.g. cat fur from one place to another. We've had other vacs that don't have that problem - harder to push than a smooth floor but workable.
It does very low carpet and hard floors well. It's not TOO noisy and you can get a box of bags free using a special offer in the box - I had already bought a box of bags with the unit but they'll get used.

These hoover bags from miele are first rate strong easy to use and materials are first rated had previous hoover and the bags and hoover leaked dust into hoover
Purchased the s1 guard Miele hoover and bags omg the suction is so strong have to turn dial down never had that in hoover before when first used Miele was shocked how dirty dust left behind from previous hoover I had
Can not recommend highly enough Miele product, purchased because my neighbour has had Miele for over 20 years and still as good as new
Don't bother buying any other brand Miele is the NUMBER I for products for a reason it is the best
Okay you may say expensive but many hoovers will you buy over 20 years? it's a no brainer get a Miele

The best vacuum I’ve used.
Quite simply this is one of the best vacuums I have ever used. It has four strengths of suction and I can clean my carpets using the second one, it has that much power. It’s operated by a push button panel on top which controls everything, the suction strength, the cable retraction and the on off. The hose head is also removed by a push button to allow the use of the brush accessories. These push button controls make the operation of the vacuum so easy, especially as I am disabled. There is also the filter, brilliant for anyone suffering from allergies. The vacuum comes with a two year guarantee and the nice bonus of a free pack of bags offer. The price is fantastic, especially considering just how good it is. If you’re looking for a new vacuum, look no further, you won’t be disappointed.

Not a comprehensive review as I’ve not had full experience of this product as I’ve not had to replace it yet. What I can say is I have 2 cats and vacuum somewhere in my house everyday plus the whole house twice a week and in the 4 weeks ish that I’ve had my vacuum I’ve not had to change the bag yet so they get a thumbs up from me

The best vacuum I have used in years
Absolutely brilliant suction power - far better than any of the cordless vacs I have used over the years (including Dyson and Shark) I will never go cordless again as they just don’t measure up in terms of cleaning power to this machine.

Miele vacuum bags look good to use.
I am pleased to have bought a set of Miele replacement vacuum bags. They look very bright and modern. I bought the Miele vacuum cleaner and bags very recently so l have not had a chance to use the bags yet but hope to do so very soon.
