Overall Very Good Vacuum
Overall this is a really great vacuum cleaner with strong suction, easy to empty dust container, great onboard attachments & easily accessible, fantastic maneuverability due to the wheels,swivel head reaches everywhere, it's sleek, light to lift & has a good length cord. The hose could have been a little longer & the only thing that is super annoying is the controls on the handle. Every time I vacuum, I accidentally switch the vacuum off at least once. I don't think it needs this at all as the controls on the main body of the vacuum can be easily operated with your foot.

This vacuum cleaner does not have a 10 metre cord
Disappointed that the cord is only 7.5 metres and not 10 metres as listed in the Harvey Norman list of specs, as I needed 10 metres. It is lovely and quiet and does an excellent job. It is not as manoeuvrable as my previous upright brand and I find it quite heavy and cumbersome to haul around. The onboard storage of attachments is great. So overall a mix of pros and cons. A smaller model would probably have been better for me but the exorbitant price of the bags put me off.

Consider Carefully
Purchased Miele for the supposed quality. Went with this model over a Dyson based on reviews. We had the Miele Blizzard no more than 2 months and the retractable power cable mechanism failed. Returned to Harvey Norman, who arranged for repair under warranty. Had to wait several months for vacuum to be fixed. Had the vaccum about 2 weeks and the retaining clip on the main handle has started to come off (apparently under the weight of the handle and hose). Pretty disappointing for a product that cost just shy of a grand and which has a rep for being solid and reliable. I'd always understood Miele products to be like the appliances I remember as a kid - lasted 25 years without any issues. A sign of the times I guess. Had the same issues with Bosch products: pay premium $ for the name and reputation and within months you're calling them up for a warranty repair (Bosch double-door fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine all played up).

Miele blizzard
Great vacuum cleaner, the ease of being bagless is so great and no extra costs of buying new bags every time they fill up. The suction is very good but not quite as strong as our older model cat and dog bagged vacuum by Miele, however it has more suction than my mother's Dyson bagless. I would happily recommend this vacuum. I'm happy with it.

Really gets the dirt
Really gets the dirt. First journey around the house with this proved the old vacuum wasn't up to standard. I like how handy the extra brushes are and also that it's easy to see how full the cannister is. It's a nice vacuum to use, as you'd expect for the price. The only downside is that it's quite big which might be something to consider if you live in a house with lots of stairs.

Incredible power and so quiet!
After a failed string of 'good brand' vacuums, I'm so grateful I took the advice given by so many friends and bought the cat dog CX1 version of this vacuum. It is incredible! Picks up EVERYTHING in the carpet, runs smoothly on the floor, sucks up ALL our long cat and kids' hair, and is so quiet.
It is incredible what this vacuum is capable of.

Best vacuum I've ever owned and one of the best appliances I've ever used. From the silky smooth telescoping stainless steel handle, to the super quiet operation, to the auto retracting cord, it's all good stuff. It cleans better than anything else I've ever owned. Love the white color and super powerful motor. You will not be disappointed.
