Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Very Good Vacuum Overall this is a really great vacuum cleaner with strong suction, easy to empty dust container, great onboard attachments & easily accessible, fantastic maneuverability due to the wheels,swivel head reaches everywhere, it's sleek, light to lift & has a good length cord. The hose could have been a little longer & the only thing that is super annoying is the controls on the handle. Every time I vacuum, I accidentally switch the vacuum off at least once. I don't think it needs this at all as the controls on the main body of the vacuum can be easily operated with your foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing suction, so quiet, absolutely outstanding I brought this vacuum today. Did a quick vacuum around the house with my DYSON first & then with my new Miele and OMG. The amount of hair and dust etc I’ve collected from my Miele is outstanding. I don’t think you’ll ever get a vacuum as soon, especially one that plugs in doesn’t lose its power at all like the stick ones. So easy to clean/empty, the suction is impressive, lifetime filter in it so no extra costs, different settings and another impressive thing is the sound, it’s so so quiet! Has all the attachments also. I couldn’t recommend this enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Miele upgrade I purchased the Miele vacuum recently to upgrade my old Miele bag vacuum which I really liked but it was time to replace it and I wanted a bagless this time. Naturally before spending this much I first did some careful comparison first to Dyson ball type vacuums and all cheaper options too. In the end Miele came out on top for me with longer cord length, larger dust capacity, and easy foot change lever for hard floor/carpet instead of changing the whole head as would with a Dyson. I am more than happy with it on arrival. A very tidy unit with clever storage places for accessory heads and works well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Consider Carefully Purchased Miele for the supposed quality. Went with this model over a Dyson based on reviews. We had the Miele Blizzard no more than 2 months and the retractable power cable mechanism failed. Returned to Harvey Norman, who arranged for repair under warranty. Had to wait several months for vacuum to be fixed. Had the vaccum about 2 weeks and the retaining clip on the main handle has started to come off (apparently under the weight of the handle and hose). Pretty disappointing for a product that cost just shy of a grand and which has a rep for being solid and reliable. I'd always understood Miele products to be like the appliances I remember as a kid - lasted 25 years without any issues. A sign of the times I guess. Had the same issues with Bosch products: pay premium $ for the name and reputation and within months you're calling them up for a warranty repair (Bosch double-door fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine all played up).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miele blizzard Great vacuum cleaner, the ease of being bagless is so great and no extra costs of buying new bags every time they fill up. The suction is very good but not quite as strong as our older model cat and dog bagged vacuum by Miele, however it has more suction than my mother's Dyson bagless. I would happily recommend this vacuum. I'm happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This vacuum cleaner does not have a 10 metre cord Disappointed that the cord is only 7.5 metres and not 10 metres as listed in the Harvey Norman list of specs, as I needed 10 metres. It is lovely and quiet and does an excellent job. It is not as manoeuvrable as my previous upright brand and I find it quite heavy and cumbersome to haul around. The onboard storage of attachments is great. So overall a mix of pros and cons. A smaller model would probably have been better for me but the exorbitant price of the bags put me off.

How do you clean the brush as I can’t see how to pop it out.

Thanks for your quesiton Shell. The vacuum cleaner and all plastic accessories can be cleaned with a proprietary cleaner suitable for plastic. Instructions to remove the brush attachment for cleaning can be found on the Miele website, or with the instructions included with the unit, on page 40 onwards, and have specific release buttons to access. Hope this helps!

Hi, Is this a good vacuum for pet lovers will it be able to clean dog & cat hair off carpets and furniture?

Hi Catherine, thanks for your question. This is a good vacuum for short haired pets, you will need to clean the hair out of the vacuum to avoid excessive build up. For long hair pets, Miele have Cat & Dog vacuum options that are great. Hope this helps.
