Great great vacuum cleaner gets rid of labrador hairs on carpet with ease! highly recommended the only problem they’re supposed to be a sticker for a filter to tell me when the filter needs to be replaced that was missing in the box

Absolutely amazing
Got this today and came straight home to give it a whirl after my vacuum died last week. It's so much lighter than my old one and the swivel on it is awesome, no more banging in to walls, the attachments are awesome and it's so quiet even with the turbo head.

Very disappointed
What a disappointment this Boost CX1 Dog & Cat is!
I am not a new to Miele vacuums. This is my second. I was not in love with the first one but, out of fairness and curiosity, I thought would give it another whirl. And what a mistake I made!
PRO:
- stylish looks
CON:
- power cord is short
- disappointing suction
- difficult to move on the floor (wood and short bristle carpet)
- poor handle design (because of the curved shape, the hand constantly tends to slide forward on the handle)
- unreasonably highly priced
- clunky attachments storage system
- because of the way it is designed, it takes too much space/room to store
- other models have suction power regulator button on the handle (which was the best feature of my other Miele vacuum)
- it seems you just always want to grab the wrong handle to pick it up, grabbing the canister release handle instead of the other one
Boost CX1 is advertised and claimed to be great for small living spaces, but small living spaces all tend to have limited storage space too, so to have this design set up is rather inconvenient.
I am rather surprised Boost CX1 was given design award in 2021.

Dog hairs no more and unlimited user time :)
Dear Miele,
Thank you for a great product, it is worthy of investment made.
My dog's hairs are finally all gone from the floor/ carpet etc areas. As it vacuums so well the hairs do not build up anymore and easy to maintain cleanliness. BEST of all is that there is not a bag to replace and the entire machine can be cleaned up. AND no more running out of battery when the job is nearly done, endless power :) Thank you to the design team and anyone involved, much appreciated.

Very quiet and powerful
This is the Miele product I have bought, it is powerful, quiet and best of all it doesn't freak out the cats, or more importantly my young daughter who has anxiety from loud noises. I have only bought brand name vacuums and this is money well spent, I will be getting other Miele Products as replacements are required

High Style | Average Function
Had my new Miele for 3 weeks now and Im not in love like I was with a previous vacuum of 13 years.
It's beautiful to look at and uses less power which suits my offgrid lifestyle.
It's adequate but not awesome.
The suction is not great on hard surfaces, I often have to pick up the head for small stones etc. I think the nozzle could be improved by tappering the tip to a 45° angle to reaching into corners etc. And the wheels just are average.

A good enough vacuum cleaner but I was expecting something a bit more spectacular from Miele. The rotating head is the only one that picks up animal hair from the carpet but it doesn't pick up hair from the wooden floor so you have to constantly change heads as you move between floor surfaces. The standard head set to carpet doesn't do anything on the carpet.

Overhyped and not worth it. will think twice about purchasing a Miele product in the future.
I purchased this hoover back in 11/2025. We had a German shepherd. . who shed quite a bit, and we needed a product that could keep up with demands of maintaining a fairly pet hair free environment. This hoover just lacked the suction to really deal with pet hair, the turbo brush was useless and trapped hair constantly , very frustrating . I have a small Shark which and a powered brush and can distinguish between a hard and soft floor finish, without dispersing particles of across the floor as the turbo brush does with this hoover. Overall not a fan of this hoover and i definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
