Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Vacuum especially for allergy sufferers. Great Machine so far, very quiet, great suction for such a power efficient machine, styling is very sleek. I have an Aussie Shepherd so lots of hair and the Miele picks it all up no problems with the Turbo head, I do have to extract some of the hair caught on the turbo head but it’s the same with all turbo heads iv ever used. The HEPA filter works incredibly well! Having a cat allergy I really need a machine like this to eliminate all the dander. I love how the dusting attachment is attached to the handle slides down for easy use and you just twist it off so you can attach it to the end of the wand/telescopic tube to get cobwebs and dust from very high places. The crevice tool that hides in the machine does the job and transforms into a fabric/sofa/upholstery tool that worked fine be it a small tool. The new bag system works great for trapping all the dust I do wish the bags were larger tho. Love the super long power cord. Machine is simple and easy to operate. So overall I’d definitely recommend this vacuum to others “when ON SALE” that want German built quality. If you have any allergies at all or just like a super clean system that puts out very clean air while cleaning extremely well, this L1 Miele cat and dog is definitely worth considering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Regretful purchase, not recommended. Recently purchased this vacuum and made the mistake of purchasing sight-unseen (was a new release and not yet in store). Had intended to purchase the previous C3 cat and dog, however it was discontinued and sold out. Big mistake. I'm really sorry that I bought this machine, and sorry that I got talked into buying another Miele. The Turboteq floorhead is a terrible design. Yes, it picks up hair/fur, but it all gets wrapped around the brush. You cannot take the head apart, so you're left trying to cut the hair out and having to pull it all out while jamming your fingers. For a Cat & Dog machine, this is pretty hopeless. The Turboteq head is also pretty hopeless on hard floors and flicks debris everywhere, meaning that I have to switch between 2 vacuum heads to vacuum the whole house (carpet and hard floors). The dusting brush is attached to top of the handle, not a separate attachment for the end of the wand. Unless you're really tall, you can't use this to clean ceiling cornices. I'll have to purchase an additional attachment for that. It doesn't come with the mini turbo-brush, as the previous model did. Overall, just a really disappointing, underwhelming purchase. My previous Miele (CX1 Blizzard bagless) completely fell apart after 4 years, so we'll see how this one goes. If I could return it, I would.
