Rated 4 out of 5 by Cabre from It’s okay I find this is good for small areas or spot cleaning. I have tiles throughout my home and I find I still need to do a proper hot mop every week to get hard marks off the floor and to make the floor feel fresh. It is good on laminate/wood flooring. I also find the solution is hard to find/often out of stock and you use a lot in a short amount of time. Overall I unfortunately would not re-purchase as it doesn’t clean my tiles as thoroughly as I had hoped for the price tag.

This shark vacuum is really good the down for with it was before I brought it I did ask the question if it was a wet and dry vacuum cleaner wet as in mopping and dry as in just a normal vacuum cleaner in other words I can use it both ways and was told yes it is. When I receive it I found out that it’s only a wet vacuum so it has to have water in it every time I vacuum, don’t get me wrong it does amazing job mopping but I still have to use my normal vacuum for normal vacuuming. I really want one that done both.

If you question the hype and ate skeptical about the endless social media spruking, you’re in for a nice surprise. Spills, dirt, pet pee? This is the solution. Word of advice, if you have pets and/or a tradie husband, do a quick whip around with a broom to pick up hair and larger detritus on your first go with the SHV. That way you can do a ‘clean sweep’ with the unit. From then on, you’re away. I can do 120m2 on 300ml of water, plus solution, in the reservoir. Beats 20l of water with a mop and bucket when you’re on tank water. I hate vacuuming and mopping. But now, try and stop me. Seriously, I’m like a sponsored influencer when I tell my friends, or random strangers, about it… without the money or any influence at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by M C Gat from Shark Hydrovac Have been using it for a few weeks now and I love this vacuum. Great for kitchen tile floors. Vacuums and mops at the same time. It’s pretty fantastic. Switch it to rug mode and it vacuums carpets as well and gives them a lovely refresh as well. The carpets dry fast so don’t stay wet long, even these cooler autumn days. The only issue it’s that it is too big to get under beds. So have to use my other vacuums for that. Otherwise it’s a great buy when it’s on sale. The self cleaning is awesome. The dirty water compartment is very easy to clean as well. Definitely recommend.

Hi, as well as the self cleaning option, is it possible to dismantle the HydroVac pro to clean the roller/ brush and the dirty water tank?

Thanks for your question Debs. Yes, while the self-clean cycle automatically cleans the system and the brush-roll, and is recommended after every use, you can also do this manually, and details of which can be found in the instructions included in the box. Trust this helps! ^CO
