Best shark product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum cleaner does everything you need, it has enhanced suction to go across multiple surfaces, it increases suction when it senses edges to ensure all dirt is collected. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone, especially when it has the capability to bend to get under hard to reach surfaces, the dual roller makes vacuuming carpet easy, and the long battery life without having to hold a trigger allows for a whole house clean uninterrupted. The best part is the external dust bin that empties the vacuum without spreading more dirt everywhere, maintaining the cleanliness of your home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark power detect stick vacuum is at the high end of stick vacuums. It has the auto emptying docking & charging station which is a great innovation. It is very easy to change the different nozzles & there is a place to store them on the base of the station. The illuminating light is fantastic as it shows up fluff & dirt you would normally miss. The multi flexible wand makes it easy to get under furniture & hard to get at areas. It has 70 minutes of running time which is ample time to get your housework done. All in all it is top of the range stick vacuums. I would highly recommend the Shark.

The best vaccum ever.
Hands down the best vaccum I have ever owned! I was previously a Dyson gal but after the battery constantly dying and it blocking all the time I changed to the shark. It is amazing. Much better suction than a Dyson and the auto emptying and filter clean is amazing. When it comes to washing the filters it is so easy and they dry very quickly. I would never go back to a Dyson again.

Shark cordless vacuum

The on button stays on when pressed which is a lot better than my other popular brand cleaner which you have to hold down and the emptying dock is a real plus. It’s not brilliant when you are hoovering underneath chairs and cupboards as it struggles to go totally flat as you go left and right but the different attachments work well and are easy to change. The suction is pretty good and the battery lasts quite well if you use it on the low setting which was fine for us. It also works well when you go from vinyl and wooden floors to carpet.

I’m so frustrated with trying to find a replacement pre motor filter for the Shark Clean and Empty PowerDetect Cordless Vacuum IP3000ANZ Series. Why is it seemingly impossible?

I was looking for a stick vacuum suitable for a four-bedroom home with approximately 80% carpet and 20% hard flooring. My initial research led me to consider the Dyson V11 and the Dyson Gen5Detect. However, when I visited the store, the Dyson V11 was out of stock and the Gen5Detect was priced higher than I had planned to spend.
Based on this, the sales representative recommended an alternative product, which I subsequently purchased. In terms of cleaning performance on both carpet and hard floors, the vacuum performs well.
However, I do have some concerns regarding the battery performance, as it appears to drain quite quickly—lasting only around 15 minutes of use. Additionally, the unit seems to produce a relatively loud noise during operation.
I would be interested to know if anyone else has had similar experiences with this model.

A Dyson comparison
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark vacuums have been gaining a lot of popularity, driving out Dyson. The Shark is heavier to steer and it drives itself at times, so it doesn't always go where you want it to go. The head also tilts up so we find ourselves manually having to step on the head to bring it back down. The light is a terrific feature, as well as the self-emptying bin. It picks up fine debris and dust thoroughly, although suction is sometimes delayed. Vacuuming the whole house seems like more of a chore then when we had our similar Dyson vacuum due to the weight. Overall, generally happy with the Shark but it's not as perfect as we had hoped.

It is useless on carpet and rugs.
This vacuum is useless on carpet. You cannot push it on carpet and rugs. Total waste of money.

Where is the on/
Hi Gordon, the power switch is on the top of the handle where you hold it—look for a small button near your thumb with a power symbol. Press it once to turn the vacuum on and press it again to turn it off.

Why does it say corded and cordless , in that box. Also 8.42kg seems strange for a stick vacuum. Are the specs the wrong?

We use corded & cordless as the main vacuum unit is cordless, however, the dock itself is powered and remains active for self emptying facilities, so this is the corded aspect. The dock + vacuum weigh a total of 8.4kg combined, while the vac unit weighs 3.6kg. Hope this helps clarify! ^CO

How much woukd it cost to buy a second battery interchangeable with the one included with this promotion
