Thanks for your question Andrew. Sadly it does not possess a connection to hook directly to a modem, and could require the use of a VOIP adapter if compatible. We would highly recommend consulting with your Telco first, as they will have recommended models to use on their network, which will guarantee compatibility and ease of use. Trust this helps! ^CO
